3 miles from I25 on the Front Range in Colorado. One hour north of Denver and 45 mins south of Cheyenne, WY and I80. We are right between Loveland and Fort Collins. Both are great small cities with great food & music scenes and widely considered to be the “Napa Valley” of craft beer and brewing. Lots of great nano and microbreweries and home to the bigger guys New Belgium and Odell’s Brewing.

Warmth, honestly, and a smile that will light you up when you first arrive at Camp McGinley.
The hosts are exactly how you would describe a host in the most optimal, dream state of a boondocking experience.
In short, a true joy and pleasure to be here and will always find our way back when we're coming through CO.
Gracious hosts. Nice level parking. Good communication. They were even kind enough to bring us coffee in the am. Gorgeous property and adorable friendly dogs. Great spot to stop over between RMNP and heading to NE.
Our first Boondockerswelcome stay and it will be tough to top this one. Nice driveway parking spot with great views and electricity offered. Amazing friendly and accommodating hosts with a bunch of really cool furry friends. Great conversations involving RVing, dogs, beer, etc. what more could you want? Wait there is more, how about hot coffee and blueberry muffins delivered to the Airstream for breakfast. Came as strangers....left as friends. Thank you Camp McGinley for your hospitality.
Mike and Kathy have to some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. So warm, so welcoming and incredibly gracious. In-fact I think I’ve made some new friends, we plan to keep in touch. If you are ever in the Loveland/Fort Collins area, this is a must stay.
I have a 22’ trailer and a Tacoma, it was a little tricky but absolutely doable back in spot. Plan to get greeted by the 3 most adorable little fur creatures; the littlest one likes to be the first to greet you so be careful as you drive in an out of the property. Electricity, water and fire pit all available, plus the most incredible views of the Rockies. Enjoy ya’ll!
Everything was great! The herding dogs got me to my parking place, my lovely hosts had friends stop by unexpectedly, and they made everyone welcome! It was a pop up evening of laughing and talking! A lovely spot with lovely people! I will make a point of stopping here again!
These folks were so delightful. They helped us on arrival and provided a covid friendly refreshment on there relaxing veranda. We'd been away from home and our pets for a number of weeks. It was such a great feeling to be smothered by their three loving and invigorating dogs. Their location is super easy to access off I-25 using well maintained roads. Their home is inviting and their landscaping beautiful and soothing. Although we were just in/out for the night we can't wait to return and spend some time in the area. These are among the very best host and they offer a most enjoyable location!
in order to appreciate this wonderful stay here at fort Mcginley, i would have to be a famous writer.
i had two very nice days with both hosts, they are fantastic hosts, they supported me with a lot of tips and help, we had some funny conversations with each other ... i enjoyed everything very much and appreciated it.
their three dogs were like therapy dogs to me, i also really appreciated getting to know them.
the two days here were for me like holidays and wellness together.
the property is outside in a wonderful, green and quiet nature, through the fresh air i could see the snow mountains.
I send you both my big thanks.
Beautiful setting and welcoming and generous hosts who went over the top to ensure our comfort. Three pooches helped us with a much needed fur baby fix. The view of the snow capped mountains is memorable!! We highly recommend this site.
This was our first stay as boondockers, and we couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience. They saw to all of our needs, offered us refreshments - basically, we felt spoiled. Can't wait to go back and see these great folks again! Perfect hosts.
