Located in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. Two miles from nearest town. In the country, quiet setting. One and a half hours from Syracuse. One half hour from Old Forge and beautiful scenery, hiking trails and many historic sites including Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain further into the Adirondeck Preserve. One hour plus from Fort Drum. Level spots, good cell service. You will probably not be able to access any local channels on your tv.
No smoking anywhere on our property.
Generators off by 11pm
Three day maximum stay
Dogs on a lease, pick up after.
Carry In, carry out
You are welcome to use our deck and furniture.
Our dump station is NOT available for others to use. There is one in town. Pads under jacks, please. We have a fairly new driveway surface.
Driveway is gravel. Two lane road to driveway with some gentle curves. Be aware of canopy over our back door. Do not cut too close to the garage as the corners are sharp and will damage your rv.
Space for RV's and tows in our driveway. Tow vehicles are parked in our driveway space depending on what is going on on our property. Most can pull in and pull out as driveway is a circle. If more than one rv in yard then this may not be the case.
We do travel frequently but give us a shout to see if we are home.
Fort Stanwic, Erie Canal, Adirondack Mountains, waterpark. Breweries, wineries, 1000 Islands, cute small stores, hiking trails, horse back riding, fishing.
First and foremost, the hosts here are Super-Hosts! They provided an typed paper detailing local interests and amenities ALL in great detail!!!
The location is right-on, easy access and quiet, 50 amp service, the landing is solid, the dump station is local and free.
Spent 3 nights at Expensive Storage Place. Was very convenient for visiting friends at their cottage on Kayuta Lake. Hosts provided a detailed list of area stores, hospitals, banks, eateries and places of interest. We were busy visiting friends but glad we had a hour to visit with them on their back deck our last night. Our dog, Tucson loved walking in their huge back yard as he doesn't like walking near roads. Will definitely request a stay here again if we make it back to this area. Thanks!
I had a great stay here! The hosts were fantastic and welcoming- the list of recommendations in the area I received on arrival was so helpful! Great conversation and such a peaceful place to rest. Thank you again!
The hosts provided a large gravel site and assisted our parking. They are experienced RVers and were great to visit with. They provided several pages of local info. We enjoyed the Booneville area as well, a pretty town with lots of old buildings. Make a point to see Pixley Falls and Lansing River Falls (unmarked, get lat/long from internet, a short hike from roadside pullout on 46). Shoemaker Laundromat was a great stop as well.
Easy directions to follow, conscientious hosts, great information shared and such a beautiful spot to rest in! The location was convenient for us and the backyard is breathtaking.
I wish we could have stayed longer, but our own camp was calling!
Can't wait to visit again...
Loved our time here, got to explore the local waterfalls and had a beautiful flat place to park the motorhome and come back to, the owners also had a yard sale that weekend and we got some useful things for the RV! 10/10 would reccomend
This was our first experience with Boondockers Welcome and we could not have chosen a better place to stay. Our hosts are experienced RVers who shared their knowledge with us.
We will definitely come back again.
Cor and Anne we're so welcoming once again and our girls really love seeing them!
Great folks to visit. Love their landscaping. Water and electric was much needed. Great page on things in the area. Friendly. Would come back for sure.
What a wonderful couple. The conversations leading up to our stay were very informative and we felt welcomed.
Nuzzled in really beautiful country.
East pull in and level and drive through for our 40ft.
Water and electric were a blessing!
Thank you both.
We hope to return in the future and stay longer.
Met both hosts and found them to be friendly and accommodating. Great information on the surroundings and provided a local map. Tomatoes from the garden were very much appreciated. Would certainly consider returning when next in that area. Thanks
Enjoyed our stay in a great location for visiting areas we were wanting to see. Hosts were friendly and gave us great info on everything you could think of. Plus delish home grown tomatoes!
We had a wonderful experience for our first Time using Boondockers Welcome. We had to attend a wedding locally and JourneyMom was very accommodating. We had a nice pull through area with great accommodations and beautiful scenery. Hope to visit again soon, it was much more than we expected and really appreciate them as hosts. God Bless
Nice parking area in the hills. Folks were very friendly and helpful. Thank you
Great Boondocking experience… The hosts were wonderful and very helpful. We sat on their porch share funny stories and they even took us out to get some ice cream wine.. it was yummy !!I would definitely recommend a stop at their home. Hopefully we will meet them again somewhere down the road and maybe they’ll even come to Florida to visit us.
Great stay with great hosts .With so much to do, we hope to be back soon so we can continue the adventures in the area. Cheers and thanks again
