Smaller rigs might be able to pull into my front yard or park along the curb in front of my house. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to a side street to park the bigger rigs, due to a new neighbor who constantly parks large trailers and equipment there (he’s a building contractor).
One of our neighbors is currently working on a building project and there are a lot of trucks, equipment, and trailers in the space where we normally ask our guests to park.
Only 20-30 minutes to Pensacola Beach, 15 minutes to Perdido Key, 15 minutes to Pensacola Naval Air Station and the National Naval Aviation Museum.
This was our first Boondockers Welcome stay and couldn’t have been happier. We were met and greeted by our host. He instructed us where to go and gave us information about the local area. We met his wife later, who was equally inviting. We felt safe and wanted.
We loved staying here. The spot was quiet and secluded and felt very private. Great location to visit both beach and city. Would definitely come again.
We spent most of our time during out stay visiting with family on Perdido Key. The site was quiet and spacious. Our hosts were very friendly and I regret that we did not get the chance to spend more time with them. We left early morn and I did not get the chance to thank them for their hospitality.
We really enjoyed our over night stay. Our host was very welcoming and made sure we were comfortable. We got some great tips chatting with him. We would definitely stay again.
Bill is a great guy, very welcoming, makes a great cup of coffee.I hope to see him again.
Many thanks to MrBill12 for the perfect, pleasant, and successful hosting. We had a great time, rested, he took us on a tour for the nearest town, we were also at the beach, and the conversations between us were long interesting and very good. The place is quiet, cozy, and clean, really perfect, and we stayed in good touch.
Thanks so much, hope to meet again on another occasion.
Anat and Ilan Sternberg.
MrBill12 and his wife were very welcoming and friendly. It was a true pleasure meeting them. We hope to cross paths again.
Bill and Sherry were great hosts. It was our first time using Boondockers Welcome and a great experience. We stayed two nights. Bill greeted us upon arrival. We had several long chats with them. They made us feel like old friends. We really enjoyed our time with them. It's a very quiet neighborhood. We look forward to seeing them again.

We loved our quick stay and hope to come back again.

MrBill12 and his wife made me feel welcomed and at home right from the start. The area where I parked my trailer was level, peaceful and scenic. I enjoyed our conversations and yet was given time and space for myself. They were very kind and considerate. Dinner was the best, taco soup with tofu. Yum! Treasured memories made for sure at Lollar’s Roost. I hope our paths meet again and I wish them well on their journeys.
Flat and level with easy access. We were in and out in under 12 hrs but would’ve loved to have stayed and explored a bit. Thank you, Sir!
We has a great stay at Lollar's Roost. Mr. Bill and his wife were super friendly. They helped us with some cool things to do in the area and brought us homemade cookies! We had a wonderful time!
A great place to settle for the evening when driving cross country. Mr. Bill12 and wife are delightful Boondocker hosts. We hope to meet up again. Great safe place to park our Airstream. We are 53 feet long and had plenty of room. Carolyn and Ed
The location is in a nice quiet neighborhood. The hosts were helpful and we truly enjoyed our stay.
We stayed here for a few days to visit friends that live nearby. It is in a very quiet neighborhood and was easily accessible. Hosts are very welcoming and will make sure you enjoy your stay.
Safe place to let travel trailer . Near Pensacola.
Easy To park.
Friendly host.
Mr. Bill and his wife greeted us upon arrival. The location was perfect for good nights rest. They even walked the area when we thought we lost our keys. Thanks so much for hosting us. You have a lovely neighborhood.
Friendly host! Our parking spot was quiet, huge and on cement! Plenty room for even the big rigs! We stayed three nights. We had a very nice time visiting with them about traveling! We would definitely stay again! Thanks so much, you made our first experience with boondockers a great one!
Bill and his wife are really great people who have talked to their neighbors and worked out this nice spacious level spur that dead ends into some pretty woods. We pulled in instead of backing in so we would have a nice view out our windshield. Bill suggested a nearby seafood market that was absolutely fabulous. I highly recommend Lollar's Roost! <3 We hope to stop back by when we are driving through again in a year or so.
Very nice couple. What we loved about these folks is that they were so attentive as we made our way to their house. They were quick to respond to our texts.. Which was very helpful at one point when our GPS took us downtown instead of to them!! They came out to meet us and get us situated, chatted for a bit, and we left fairly early the next morning. We will stop again if we are in that area!
From here on I think I'm going to have to review EACH Boondockers Welcome Host as the best!! Such wonderful people to share a quiet place to park overnight & invited me to stay over to see the Blue Angels Homecoming & go to the Elks Lodge.
If you ever have the opportunity to meet Mr Bill & his lovely bride, do not pass it up! We shared an incredible hour together and I feel I've made new, lifelong friends. No matter how much I type in this review, it will not reflect the warmth & caring I received from these fabulous hosts!
Bless you & your family! I'll look forward to my next visit!
MrBill12 was so helpful getting us set up under very rainy conditions. The site is was very level, private and quiet - perfect! Only wish we had more time to visit with he and his wife and explore the area - perhaps next time.
Bill and his wife are very personable and went out of their way to help us. The spot was easy to get to and easily accommodated our 32 ft rig. We enjoyed being close to the city and beaches!
Nice quiet neighborhood and friendly hosts. I enjoyed waking up to all the native birds singing around me.
We enjoyed our stay in Bill’s neighborhood. We was very kind during our stay and made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. We had some nice chats and really were happy to meet him and his wife. Nice, level spot in a quiet neighborhood. Lovely bird song in the mornings:) thank you!
Had a wonderful time in Pensacola staying with the Lollars for 2 nights and getting to know them. They are very generous and helpful folks. Their house is so convenient to all Pensacola and the beaches have to offer. Wish we had more time to stay and visit with them and the surrounding area. We'll be back!
I had a very restful overnight stay in my trailer near Bill’s place on a level dead-end road kitty-corner from his house. He was so kind to back in my rig there. Bill’s neighborhood is pretty and very quiet. I very much enjoyed chatting with him before turning in for the night. He’s a pleasant, interesting fellow, and I highly recommend staying there one or more nights.
Great hosts! We enjoyed this nice, quiet spot. We felt very safe. Our kids favorites in the area were Pensacola Beach, Pensacola MESS Hall, and an awesome playground off Navy near base. Thanks so much!
We really enjoyed getting to know these hosts. We had some great conversation and they were so accommodating. The site is very quiet and the mornings are alight with bird song. We would stay here again!
We chose the perfect hosts for our first Boondockers Welcome stay. Bill and Sheri made us feel right at home. We spent some time together in the evening. We may have arrived as strangers but parted as friends. The site was quiet and safe and we had a relaxed evening. We would happily stay here again and recommend this host to anyone passing through the area.
A very pleasant one night stay in this nice neighborhood. Had some interesting conversations and our dogs had fun visiting too. Thanks for the tour of your rig. It's great to see what other people are camping in. --- Take care of your knee!!
A great hideout. Perfect spot for our big RV. The neighborhood was peaceful. Bill was the perfect host. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet his wife. The location was great for the things we wanted to do while here too, see the Navel Air Museum, and the Pensacola Beaches. (And don't forget graffiti bridge!). We even heard revelry (at a distance) this morning at 8am. Lovely. We will be back.
Very friendly. We were set up at the end of a dead end street. Beautiful spot. We were awakened by the sound of song birds. Like being in park. Would definitely recommend staying here.
We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the hospitality of the really friendly hosts. Plan to stay again sometime.
The hosts deserved better from us, but we had an incredibly challenging journey on our trek to get from mid-Florida to their location for one night. They seem like great folks, very generous and hospitable. We were too exhausted to dialogue with them in the evening and our schedules did not mesh for the morning. We hope to return at another time and make additional time to talk.
Nice spot in town, very friendly hosts. They had a couple different options for spots, I parked in street in front of house, felt safe area.
