Have you stayed at this host location?
Leave a reference for this hostWe are on private hilly 320 acres with a 40 acre (non-swimming) lake, trails with great views, and a variety of possible RV spots - depending on your rig. Access is via 1 mile of good gravel off of a paved road. If you like a quiet spot above or beside a lake with great views, starry skies without light pollution, birds singing, coyotes vocalizing at night and probable sightings of deer ; you will feel right at home.
Be considerate
No smoking or drugs
No open fires except in fire rings
Pets on leash (cattle on property)
No trash left behind
No loud music - we enjoy the quiet, too.
We have a variety of possible RV locations accessed via gravel or farm roads with some curves. Most are hilly and may need 4 wheel drive depending on the weather. Dry camping available on the top of high hills with great views. However, parking near our house is available in wet or dry weather. You just won’t have as much privacy or views. We have cold winters with lots of snow so are not accepting RV's from mid October until May.
There is lots of space on our property. Smaller trailers may have access to choice locations, but we can accommodate anyone. Tow parking location will vary with which RV location is used. Pull through available in some areas.
We do some last minute trips in the summer, but feel free to give us a shout and see if we can accommodate you.
There is a large recreational lake with boat launch and swimming beach about 10 minutes away. We are in Lakeland County, with numerous lakes and Provincial and Municipal campgrounds. There is a small convenience store and gas station 2 miles away, and it is about 35 minutes to the nearest town for shopping, swimming pool, RV service center etc.
