Description

This is a 5 acre spot just outside of city limits near Eureka. I have my mobile home situated there that I've been in for approximately 8 years. I have it listed on airbnb and vrbo so I rent it out to hunters, etc. as often as possible. There is a lagoon behind the mobile home that I should be able to have access made so that we can also dump our black and gray tanks there.

House Rules

The only rules I really expect are that you treat others as you expect to be treated. Please pick up your trash and no wild, loud parties! I want you to love your time here and want to come back!

Access Road Conditions

This is a large field next to an old barn that we have used for events. We have used the field for parking. I will most likely be putting in a couple (?) of RV hook up areas in this field within the next year, but at this time, there is plenty of room for boon docking! There is water access in the immediate area for you to fill tanks, etc. for a small fee, if needed. The property is very easily accessible and is located just off of paved road.

Tow Vehicle Parking Details

You can park your tow vehicle next to (or still attached) to your rig. I have just under 5 acres so there is plenty of space!

Suggested Local Attractions

There are 3 very nice lakes nearby that are known for their fishing, camping, trails, etc. The hunting is great in this area as well. There are a couple of great places to eat in town as well as a museum, a newer library and a water park.

We left early in the morning as we had a long drive so we had a short quiet stay

Peaceful pasture

Wow.. Such a beautiful place to rest. The little barn by the river was a perfect resting spot. We only stopped for a quick overnight, hoping we get back through the area to check out the river and cute little town of eureka.

Excellent Host

Becky is wonderful and a busy lady. She is gracious and wonderful to talk with.

Our two labs had the time of their lives running and playing in the large area of grass and tall areas. They have never had such freedom as we lived off a busy highway and were always chained up.
I highly recommend this boondocking location.
Thanks so much Becky!!!

Boondocking by the river.

This is a nice place to boondock and the host is very nice and easy to get along with. River is within walking distance and is a great way to cool off when it's hot. We recommend this host to anyone passing thru. And would stay here again.

Great spot!

This was the perfect place to spend the night on the way from SC to CO. It is located near a river and was very quiet. It is a short walk down to a low water bridge with some good photo opportunities. The place is very easy to access and plenty of room to turn around even pulling a toad. The Host was very friendly and accommodating. She recommended a great place to eat in town. We hope to come by again sometime when we can visit.
