RV owner since 1989 that loves to travel Details: My wife and I live on 15 acres with a stocked 2 acre pond in a 5 bedroom house that we built. House has attached garage and shop that is climate controlled for our antique car collection as well as our motor-home. We typically spend the winters in Sarasota Florida, but are back home when the grass starts to grow, as I do all the yard maintenance here as well as on various rental properties. My wife and I both love to travel so we tend to sneak away as much as possible when not occupied with doting on the grandchildren, fishing and hunting on our 245 acre farm, or other summertime activities. Home Town: Arthur, IL. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We actually kinda like Walmart:) Skills or Expertise to Share: Have a well stocked shop with car lifts, power tools etc. Also have typical farm equipment such as tractors, crawlers etc.

This was a great place to spend a night. Alvie helped with a battery problem, gave us a reference for repairs. There is a great town (Arthur) close by so we went to explore the downtown area. I will definitely go back there.

This was our first stop at Paradise in Chesterville but hopefully not our last. Communication when booking their site and before arrival was easy and quick. Their property is easy to find, and access is simple. Their location is beautiful and very quiet. We were born and raised in two different ways but have a lot of common interest. We sure enjoyed our talks with the host I may have talked a little too much though. Thanks again for sharing with us what God has blessed you with. Monroe and Pam

What a wonderful location—quiet, serene, and beautiful! Right smack-dab in the middle of Amish country. The hosts were fantabulous, the site was easily accessible (and thanks for Alvie for looking out for us arriving—the Garmin GPS wanted us to pass up this fantastic location) and manueverable. And Elsie treated us with fresh popcorn! A reason to return to IL!

Great stop on our way home for a few hours of sleep after a long day and long delays in Chicago area. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Thank you again.

Unfortunately we missed our stay due to Trailer problem We communicated with the Host Alvie about our dilemma. His genuine concern for our problem is a testament to these folks character which can be found in many of these reviews If we ever travel this part of the country again I will make it my priority to stop and see these folks
