Very large cement driveway within city limits. Driveway does have about a 30 degree slope to it - we do have ramps to help you level out. Electricity and water available. Holds up to a 38 foot coach. 30 or 50 amp available with electricity.
About 2 miles from the main highway 59. Paved roads all the way. Have to enter thru one particular street -The other has too many low trees. Vacant lot across the street makes it easy to get in and out.
On the street or on the other side of the house on the grass

We had the most amazing time with Bonnie and Rick. They greeted us on the driveway when we arrived and helped us get level on their driveway which does have a bit of a slope. They hooked us up to 30 amp power and we were able to run our AC and microwave! If we had needed water, we could have had that too. They let r dog hang out in their fenced backyard so that he could run around off leash and he had a fabulous time chasing the birds and squirrels. In the evening we say on the patio and had a wonderful time sharing our various RV experiences. I highly recommend staying here if you are in this part of Texas. It was a perfect stay, and I hope we will be back through here again someday for a catch-up visit!
Very accommodating hosts. Enjoyed our chat about RVs and other things. Would definitely stay again when passing through the area.
TexBob greeted me with home made jalapeño jelly and homemade peanut brittle. She apologized that she didn’t have any fresh fruit to offer from her fruit trees due to the damage sustained from the earlier freeze. How wonderful is that? This couple was so amazing. I could not have asked for a better stay.
I was boondocking several days in a row trying to cross from North Carolina to West Texas through stormy cold weather, trying to beat a bad winter storm. This was day 4 of my trek and the hosts could not be more welcoming. A warm lunch of beef stew, jalapeño corn bread and good conversation was much appreciated. The host also provided a custom wood block to jack up the trailer on the steep driveway, so everything was level (no issues backing up the driveway and my airstream is quite low to the ground) and a wood step that provided the much needed additional step to exit the trailer. I was having issues with power and we finally figured out it was my power cord. The hosts went out of their way to help me locate a store that carried the power supply cord and drove me to pick it up. I had also run out of LP gas due to the long cold days/nights, so we stopped to refill the tanks as well. As luck would have it - my truck battery was dead come morning and they once again came to my rescue. Their dog, while shy, was super sweet to my dogs and was especially interested in the puppy. The fenced yard is a plus - to allow the pets freedom to roam. I was invited to a game of cards, but was too exhausted to participate. Extra bonus was being able to empty my gray tank and lighten my load for the final leg of my trip. Can’t thank the wonderful hosts for their hospitality and assistance on this particularly challenging trip.
Although we didn’t get to meet our hosts, they allowed us to stay overnight, we had water and electricity, with a very nice view. The small slope of the driveway was not a problem for our 23 ft TT! I highly recommend this Boondockers welcome stop.
These hosts are the friendliest, most accommodating that I've encountered during my travels! They were flexible when I arrived a day earlier than expected, and then they let me stay an additional night. I appreciated the electricity, water, and home-grown grapefruit so much!
We missed the hosts as they were travelling themselves. Their son was great and helped us settle in. Lots of room and handy levelling blocks gave us a great nights sleep. Hopefully we can meet up with the hosts in the future.
This was a nice 2-day stop and I was glad there was a 220 volt outlet to charge my electric car. I didn't get to meet the host but her son was here to greet me and help get set up. I definitely recommend other boondockers that are traveling through this area to stay here.
We are so happy to have met our TexBon hosts. They welcomed us and helped us get set up. We had a wonderful visit and exchanged lots of funny stories and life experiences. Very friendly upbeat couple.
I was welcomed with open arms and assisted in levelling my Roadtrek RV on their driveway which had quite a decline. Invited into their home on several occasions and even to use their shower before heading out. These folks are so friendly and kind I felt like family.
We really enjoyed our visit with Bonnie and Rick. They were the perfect hosts - helping us get set up and sharing their lives with us for a little while. Hope to see them again.
Bpnnie and Rick were absolutely great hosts! Very spacious parking, helped us get nice and level. Easy approach and parking, had 50 amp service and some great water. Warm cinnamon rolls the next morning, lots of tips and experience about the RV life. Would definitely stop by there again.
