Leave a reference for this hostYou are our guest. We do not accept cash for hookups. There is a view and path to a lake. Open field and woods surround this 9 acres homesite. Peaceful. Cell phone service is spotty. One hour from St. Louis, MO.
Animals on leash until host can secure their pets. We’ll take turns letting dogs run. No smoking, no generators after 10 pm. Haul out whatever you haul in.
Gravel, well maintained. One sharp curve on entrance.
Park close to rig.
Greater St. Louis attractions. Short hikes on property.
Wonderful hosts with their own lake. Had a very restful stay. Thanks.
Host is very accommodating and generously offered several parking options (near the house with water/electric/no cell or near the top of the driveway for true boondocking and a bit more cell service). tons of flexibility to meet your specific needs. The property is beautiful and is close enough to amenities and remote enough to feel relaxed. We would love an opportunity to spend more time, in the future.
We had a nice quiet night with electric to help heat our trailer on a cold night. We arrived after dark, and were met with warmth and generosity. We didn't get to visit long, but would highly recommend this stay!
My host was so lovely and welcoming, I had 15amp electric, it was really quiet and peaceful and very much appreciated!
Our host was kind enough to meet us at the end of her driveway to make sure we made it safely! We are blessed to have stayed here and highly recommend this peaceful location!
Location is easy to find with a warm, friendly host. Two of us happened to schedule the same night and there was plenty of room for privacy. We would definitely stay with Jbhermitage again!
We had a quiet, dark evening in a nice open field. With shade from the sun. Lovely lake nearby and a walk on a country road.
Our lhost was very good at making sure we found the driveway and met us at it.
We wish we could’ve had more time to share but important duties get in the way. We would stay again.
Thank you for making my first Boondockers Welcome so successful. You were willing to come out to the end of your road and meet us with a lantern to make sure that we didn't pass the property. That was very kind of you. You also recognized that we were exhausted after driving 500 miles and just wanted to eat and then sleep. You told us what we needed to know. You were cheerful, and friendly and made us feel right at home. I really appreciated it. It's people like you that attracted me to Boondockers Welcome in the first place. Happy travels
We got set up between rains and our host was great about taking time to talk and show us where everything was. Their rural property is beautiful and has a nice fishing lake too. It was just what we needed.
