We had some car repairs done that reshuffled our plans. The lovely ladies at the winery stayed until we arrived (in the dark and rain) to help us get settled. Due to our late arrival we missed wide tasting, but they brought us a bottle to try til we could return for a real tasting and longer visit! We’ll be back in about 2 weeks! multiple power hookups are available and easy in and out access for any size vehicle! Shared a spot in the vineyards with another rv. It was quiet and peaceful.
this was our first boondockers welcome experience and it was very positive, We both enjoyed the tranquil area, and the wine tasting was fun. Aubrey was a great host both my husband, and I hope to be able to stay on our way back home in April I'm sure I'll need a couple more bottles of wine.
I arrived at the vineyard for my overnight stay and was immediately offered hookups, water, a dump and a wine tasting. Excellent hosts, highly recommended
We really enjoyed our stay at the winery. It is truly peaceful and the hosts made us feel at home.
They have great amenities and will work with you if you need anything.
Thank you all so much for your hospitality!
The owners were very accommodating and helpful. We met some wonderful people while there. It was nice to have space to stretch and relax. It was a pleasant stay. The owners are easy going.
We had a super, super time!!! Thank you so much for all your kindnesses! You have a fabulous operation -- from site to wine to -- especially - employees! Thank you Tom, Aubrey, Susann, Eddie, Carlos - thank you for sharing your wine making experiences, your site, your friendliness, helpfulness, ideas and FUN!! We loved our stay and plan to visit once again! Bless you for generosity and kindness! Love to all
We cannot express our utter delight in this site, our stay, our accommodations, the wine, and most especially -- THE EMPLOYEES!! Susann, Tom, Aubrey, Carlos, Eddie -- all were wonderful - thoughtful, kind, generous and helpful! We easily set up our 40' motorhome, spent time exploring the vineyards, tasting the wine, talking with Aubrey, Susann and Tom, learning about grape vines and production with Carlos and Eddie, mingling with other guests, and were just as comfortable and had as much FUN as anywhere we have yet to stay! We plan several return visits and cannot recommend this site highly enough! Tom, Aubrey, Susann, you make traveling and meeting new people an incredible experience, adventure and delight! Thank you thank you thank you!
We had so much fun at CartersvilleCountryWinery. There were several other Boondockers to socialize with and the hosts were very accommodating. We can't wait to go back again!
This was one of our best Boondockers Welcome locations yet! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. They even set up a bounce house for my kids and some others who were staying as well. We would definitely stay here again!
Thank you Aubrey and Tom. This was our first time staying at a Boondockers Welcome host and we could not have been more delighted. There isb39 & 50 amp service available for $15 and a water hookup. There is also a dump station. The hosts were amazing and the other guests were so much fun. We went to a wine tasting Friday night and We had an awesome party with hosts and guests on Saturday night around a campfire. I’d love to come back for another visit. Oh and the wine is great. We bought 7 bottles!
We called ahead to let them know when we would be in, they said no problem. We did a wine tasting even though they were not open that day. It was very peaceful, great view of the stars. They offered a firepit and a huge pile of wood for a fire if we wanted.
Wow, what a great night at Winery! There were about 7 RV’s and plenty of space. Host let us have camp fire and the wood for great fire. They did join us as we hung around a nice warm fire on a cold night. Could not have ask for more! There was private party going on, so I did not get to taste or purchase wine this trip, but plan on stopping by in April next year and I’ll make sure to get some wine. Sites are level, 30 and 50 Amps, water connections for $15 a night and I did not use dump, but understood that for $5 it was available.
Southern Hospitality at it’s finest! Very cool things to see at Winery too!
We had a great visit. They actually had three visitors and we all pulled in kind of at the same time , got to do a wine tasting together so there were six guests and three people from the winery.
It was great fun. Our stay was just overnight but it was fabulous. Would recommend it for others.
Only stayed one night, host greeted us with open hands. Site has easy access and level area to park, would definitely stay again. And also the wine tasting was fun.
We stopped in for just one night. Our hosts were gracious, and if you like wine, this is the place! Even if you're not a wine drinker, this is still a great place to stop. They treated us like we were long lost friends. We'll definitely have to stay longer next time.
we have stayed before did t do the wine tasting this time but had fun playing ball with the kids. Electricity was nice.
We had mechanical issues and could not get here on day we were supposed to arrive. Host was very understanding and arranged for someone to be available when we arrived on a Saturday. People who met us upon arrival were very friendly and showed us where to fill tank and to park camper. Then they gave kids and I a tour of winery while hubs had a wine tasting.
Were super patient with my kids and answered all their questions.
Nice view of the grapevines and plenty of space that kids can play without being in the way of workers.
Absolutely would stay again.
We loved meeting everyone from the Winery. We arrived later than expected due to weather, but we were able to talk on the phone and get set up and then we were met by the host who lives on site. In the morning we were able to watch them harvest some grapes, take some photos and enjoy a wine tasting before heading to our next destination. I would highly recommend adding this stop when traveling the area and will definitely be back!
The access to the host site was great. The site itself was a hard packed sand and very level. I enjoyed a wine tasting. I was also invited to the gathering they host for friends. I had great conversation and the food was awesome. This is also a great site to use when visiting my Mom who lives in a nearby town.
Was a good stay. We had to leave early, but while we were there we had a chance to rest, reorganize the truck, fix a few things, let the kids freely ride their bikes (they were SO happy about that!) and meet another traveler. Audrey even let us borrow the 50/30 adapter that she had.
She welcomed us and showed us where we could set up, she let us use their dump station for $5 dollars, and electricity was $15 for the night. The water was by the dump, so make sure you fill up before you go to your spot.
Would definitely go back again when we’re able.
We really enjoyed our brief stay. We did a wine tasting and got a tour of the winery. Quiet, easy to access, and friendly hosts.
I didn’t stay very long but upon my arrival I was greeted by some very gracious and accommodating hosts. I would encourage any Boondockers that travel through that area of South Carolina to make the time to give them a visit.
We were running late and had a weather delay, so didn't arrive until after 8 pm. I felt bad for coming so late, but we were graciously welcomed and told by phone where we could park our Class B, and that no one would bother us. We had a peaceful night, listening to the frogs. Unfortunately we did not get to see the winery or sample anything due to our late arrival, and we had to leave early the next morning to get back home on a tight schedule. Next time we'll plan to arrive early and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. It was lovely to wake up and see the grapes in the morning mist and fog.
Tom and Aubrey very congenial. Tom took the time to show us his Vineyard and wine operation. We were very impressed. I highly recommend a stop, even if you're not spending the night, to see Tom and Aubrey. You will be glad you did.
We stayed for one night. We had a wine tasting it was very good. very nice people and easy drive in and out.
In the best of conditions, this is an awesome spot! After fighting high winds and heavy rain all day, it was a blessing to get off the Interstate a be welcomed by such friendly, fun hosts. We were joined by 2 other families for wine tasting and laughs. Overnighting was quiet and comfortable- we hit the road this morning totally refreshed. We are thankful these incredible hosts offer such a space for folks like us. A wonderful introduction to BoondockerWecome.
Wow! These people were so warm and welcoming. They let us have the run of the place. The best part is we were parked under a car port so the night it rained we were able to keep our canvas pop up dry. We enjoyed wine tasting with some of the other guests too.
This was a really great spot to spend the night. Very close of highway I-95, very quiet, lots of space. The hosts were very nice as well.
We stayed with Tom and Aubrey for 7 nights. We loved it there. Had a lot of fun and I volunteered to help out and Tom put me right to work and it was so much fun helping out. Tom is very friendly and a super guy. Aubrey is a very out going, welcoming and friendly person.
We also had fun going to the local Hippie Fest event. Tom took us in his RV and it was fun to hang with them all and get treated like one of them.
The parking area is level and hard pan, with lots of room for any size rig. We had power with access to water and we dumped before leaving at their dump station.
We will be back very soon for sure. Feel like we have made some new friends for years to come.
Nice place to stay. The host and employees were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the wine tasting with fellow RV'ers from NY and Maine.
Very nice people. We enjoy the 2 days we stay there. They make an excellent wine, we love the « honeymoon delight « and the « sparkleberry delight ».
The place is very easy to access and near the city of Florence. We enjoy the walk in the Mcleod recovery center (to the Florence Rail Trail).
Thanks you for your hospitality.
Our hosts showed us to our spot and surprised us with providing us a jump house for the kids who were very grateful. The next day when our sink started leaking, they let us use their tools to fix the sink as well. We tasted wine and had an overall good time. I would stop again if in the area.
We loved staying here for 2 nights . Great company, and a great place to stay. We loved all the open space for our 2.5 yr old to run around. They were great company. We enjoyed wine tasting and even left with 4 bottles! We opted to pay $10 a night for electric as we have super small kids to keep warm ect. Can't wait till we can visit again!
The winery was very interesting. Local grapes grown in the area. Got a tour of the process of making the wine. Had tastings. Very friendly hosts.
