Leave a reference for this hostWe are located on a tidal river about 5 miles inland from Portsmouth NH and Interstate 95. The boondocking site is the right hand side of our driveway. The driveway is pitched so you most likely will need a couple inches of leveling blocks. The electric connection is a standard 15 amp household electric circuit so RV AC may overload the circuit. I hope to upgrade that to a 30 amp soon. Our rear yard is river front and is totally fenced in so the dogs can be off leash. We ask you pick after your pet. You can sit by the campfire looking at the river and also use the screen house to avoid the bugs in the evening.
Be nice, be kind, pick up after yourself. A bottle of red wine goes a long way.
Our street is a small dead end neighborhood of 12 homes. There is a turnaround at the end but it has trees overhanging. Shouldn't be an issue backing into our driveway or backing out into the street.
If not right with your camper then possibly on the side lot as long as the ground is firm.
Dover; Woodman Institute, NH Childrens museum, Patty B's Italian restaurant
Portsmouth NH; museums , seafood restaurants, waterfront parks
Great stop off on your way to the white mountains of NH or the coast of Maine
If the tide is right we can take you kayaking on our river. See Great Blue herons, deer, Bald Eagles, and if your lucky a black bear.
What a very nice experience meeting The NH Wonderlust couple (not supposed to use real names J and R) ! They were very welcoming and accommodating. I throughly enjoyed our conversations and the wonderful dinner. I hope to cross paths with them, and Tahoe and Gypsy one day in the future. Maybe if and when we can attend a Blues festival somewhere in the US again one day, we can arrange to meet at one.
Beautiful place. Friendly hosts. Can not wait to go back. Thank you for your hospitality!
A beautiful property, great location, and most importantly: Wonderful people. Great chats, kayaking, cooking together and all around lovely time here with NHWanderlust. Thuough we didn't know each other 3 days ago and they feel like family now. So helpful, kind and fun. Three sweet 4-legged friends round out the entire experience. Thank you!! <3
We had a great stay. One note, the driveway is sloped so be prepared to jack your camper about 6-8 inches to make it level. Our hosts recommended that we visit the nearby Wagon Hill Farm and it was beautiful, especially walking through the woods down by the water.
We loved our visit to this idyllic riverside home. Our hosts were communicative, friendly and outgoing. We had great talks with them, as well as a wonderful river canoe paddle. Thanks for a wonderful stay! Come visit us on Cape Cod.

Richard is like the uncle everyone loves. His lakeside home is a gem and he was kind enough to share power. The greater first experience using this site!
I had such an amazing stay with NHWanderlust. They were wonderful hosts that made me feel like I was staying with family. We ended up having dinner together 2 of the 3 nights, shared stories with a fire as the sunset and dogs played in their beautiful backyard. They also showed me around the wildlife preserve across the river during a morning walk. I was sad to leave, felt like I was saying bye to family I didn't know when I'd see again!
Thank you guys so much for opening your home to me and my pups. Happy Travels from Kristie, Willie & Nelson!
What a great experience! We stayed with NHWanderlust on our 2nd night of 12 day RV trip. Our high-energy dog played well with their dogs, and it was a very comfortable experience with having a 3 month old baby on our first RV trip. The hosts were very friendly, shared a passion for the outdoors and protection our natural resources, and knowledgeable about the local area in addition to the other areas we planned to travel to in NH.
Had a good time sitting in the back yard watching the river and enjoying the fire and conversation. The two dogs and cat were friendly too.
We felt quite welcome.
Lovely stay with great hosts. Beautiful spot where we enjoyed great evenings outdoors, along the fireside, chatting about this and that. Had the chance to see the surrounding area and will hopefully see you someplace, sometime in the future. Thanks again
NHWanderlust was a wonderful host. We loved their backyard, their dogs and our conversations! Thank you so much for your hospitality!
