The host was very nice. We really appreciate letting us stay there, for a safe spot to stay during covid-19.
Easy access from interstate with private location for your RV. Really enjoyed Voda’s performance of many tricks to commands. Thank you for offering a spot during this crazy time with COVID 19.
We had a great couple nights stay here! Very accommodating and communicative. Thanks!
We were just traveling through and didn't even get a chance to say hello. Easy parking, gracious host.
Wonderful stay, Host went out of her way to accomodate my water and electrical needs and even backed my camper in to the space! (I'm getting better at backing, I swear!) great place to stay, would stay again.
The host's location is not far from the interstate, the town was easy to navigate and offers whatever one might need (we saw Walmart and Ace Hardware). We were far enough from the street that it was reasonably quiet, and we did not need to separate the towed car from our 30' motorhome to get in or out. Dena offered water and we appreciate that but we did not need it. We were given the opportunity to chill after our arrival and that was just what we wanted. Thank you, Dena!
We did a quick overnight stay with Children of the corn while traveling through the area. This was a very quiet area aptly named because we were surrounded by huge green corn fields. Peaceful and convenient location off the interstate resulted in a very restful night.
Site really is surrounded by cornfields😱😀
There was a nice flat area for our rv and pretty quiet at night. The host was very generous and kind! She offered to take us canoeing, we are so glad we took her up on it. We had a great time. She also offered to let us put some fresh water in our tank. She went above and beyond!
We stayed one night at this children of the corn’s home base! We loved it. The host responded within minutes to our request. When we got there, she wasn’t home but had sent me a very detailed message. Great communication! Location was perfect for us. Lots of privacy. Would definitely recommend and stop again if we ever drive through this area in the future. Thanks again 😄
The weather and the hard rain's took away that opportunity to possibly go down the river with Dena. Not much else I could find to do in the area, however the Walmart has Chicago's famous Buono Beef for sale cheap and the petrol station lets you dump and water up with any purchase.
