We are a short drive away from the beautiful Acadian Pennisula and the city of Bathurst, there are numerous festivals in the area, info provided in the Travel NB tourism guide.
Cyril and Simone are great hosts, we've become friends and now make a point to visit when in the area. Definitely one of our favorite hosts and location!
We communicated frequently during our incoming approach, updating Cyril & Simone as to our arrival time. They provided us with a lovely spot on the shore of Bay de Chaleur. It didn’t hurt that the weather was beautiful. They made available 15 amp service which wasn’t needed. Cyril even serenaded us with a little blues guitar.
Thank you Cyril & Simone
Host greeted us warmly and ensured that we had the best view of the water front. We were welcomed to their bonfire to watch the beautiful sunset. Knowledge of the area was interesting. We had a great evening of conversation and laughs. We felt safe & secure during the night. Slept well. We would highly recommend this host and location. If we were returning to this area we would definitely stay here again.
The location was beautiful. We were right on the bay which was breathtaking. We were concerned about the heat (80 F) but were reassured by our hosts it would not be an issue, and it wasn't. It cooled off once the sun went down. Spent the evenings having great conversations with our hosts as well as dinner and fires. The only thing better than the view were he warm of CyrileandSimone. Hope to see them again. If you come this way make it a point to stay here.
What a great place to spend a few days. Right on the water, beautiful views and first-rate hosts. Cyril and Simone could not have made me feel more welcome. Evening fire by the water, bluegrass music by Cyril and his friends. It felt more like a vacation than a stopover. I'm already looking forward to next year.
Hospitality at it's best! These folks made us feel very welcomed from arrival to departure. Beautiful scenery and great conversation. As a guitar player, I particularly enjoyed being invited to play some music with the host. I'll add this... real quiet, real relaxed... real people! Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.
