The hosts at Log Cabin @ Lake Shasta made the maiden voyage with my new van and with Boondockers Welcome, exceptional. They were both so gracious and fun and easy-going and HELPFUL! They helped me with some problems I was having with the van and even washed my windshield (OK, it was dirty). Their log cabin is beautiful and the surrounding vistas of the woods and Lake Shasta were breathtaking. I was able to park my van so my bed was facing the lake and woke up to a spectacular view. I enjoyed their lovely 11company and the peaceful feeling of the stillness of nature. The lady of the house even surprised me with jello in a wine glass. Looked just like Rose' and was delicious. Thank you guys for a memorable stay! Above and beyond expectations.
