What welcoming, friendly folks!

They provide very easy ingress/egress, a full hook-up (w/e/d) conveniently located next to your RV. It’s a quiet private lake setting with little traffic and no noise. I’ve met several great hosts but no one more friendly and generous with their facility than these. I highly recommend J & S as marvelous hosts.

Lovely Location and Hosts

I had a wonderful experience here! The spot was easy to pull into, extremely level, and hookups were right next to the spot on the garage (though I didn't use water or electricity, just the dump before leaving, but I didn't even have to move to use the dump!). The hosts greeted me as I pulled in, were extremely friendly and accommodating, and answered a couple of questions I had about the area and gave me some very helpful recommendations on where I could get propane. They introduced me to their adorable, sweet pups and let me know where the lake, walking and biking trails, and dumpster were. They even let me know when there was a mama and baby deer hanging out across the street from the space so I wouldn't miss seeing them! The lake was LOVELY and I had a very relaxing time gazing at it and doing yoga on the patch of the grass at the end of the road where it's visible from. The space was peaceful and I had a great night's rest. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone in the area!

Amazing accomodations!

Gracious, welcoming hosts. Nice level site overlooking a beautiful yard, and some views of a lake. PLUS 30 amp, water and dump all available at the site. It was a wonderful quiet retreat after a long day of driving. AND a pull through, so no unhooking thanks to our host trimming some trees so we could safely drive under them. Above and beyond!!! Many thanks for a great overnight. Wish we could have stayed longer and seen more of this lovely area.

Wet-n-Wild

This was a wonderful site for me and my two dogs. The hosts were so friendly. The location included a large area for my dogs to run. It rained off and on for 2 days but my dogs loved it. I will definitely request this site again if I return to the area.

Lovely location and hosts

Wow! Friendly helpful hosts, easy level spot, full hookup, by a lake, bike rail trail close by, wineries, breweries, distillery, parks within 30 minutes. 15 to 20 minutes off Rte 90. Loved staying here. We have a 35 foot fifth wheel and this site was a piece of cake to park. Thank you to our hosts for letting us stay.

Wonderful couple

We loved our stay. Our hosts were so nice and made us feel very welcome. The area has lots to see and our gracious hosts furnished us with a little info packet about the must see's in Cleveland. It was so much fun. Our accommodations were perfect. Will definitely be back to visit!

Why would you stay in an RV resort when you can stay at "When_in_Rome

To make a long story short.... I had to check out of TT nearby but I was still waiting for a replacement mirror for my rig. I had signed up for Boondockers but never thought that I would really use them. What great hosts they were. All I can say is that my mirror was installed the day that I arrived there but I ended up staying for 4 nights. They are on 5 acres near a lake, 30 amp, water AND sewer for 5 bucks a night... Are you kidding me? I am writing this on my last night before I head out in the morning but I had been invited to dinner plus spent 2 nights around the fire pit with the hosts & their neighbors. I am sure I have been spoiled & possibly disappointed with my next venture with Boondockers.

Best ever

Let me say right upfront... this was my best ever, most enjoyable boondock ever! This place and the lovely host couple were wonderful. Quiet, shaded, relaxing, friendly. They provided info about places to go and see, which was very thoughtful and helpful. Hope to go visit them again!

Quite Place

We had a wonderful time! Rome is a great location with nice, friendly folks. Just were gone for most of our stay but provided electricity, water, and even had sewage hookup! When we finally meet them they were just so friendly and gave us advice on things to do and see. She even explained about their property (use to be a farm and they have the original home built in the 1800’s!). They even said we could use their fire pit but unfortunately didn’t get around to enjoying that. Definitely would stay again. Hope y’all have a good time on your adventure. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality! Our son says he LOVED your rock pile😄

Great Time

We had such a nice, peaceful 3 night stay here. We enjoyed the campfire- just chatting with them and the neighbors. The area was great for a nice walk and bike ride and saw a deer and a skunk! Jim and Susie both were great in helping us navigate in and out. Would definitely stay again. We travel in 38 ft fifth wheel

Awesome

This is a fabulous BDW! Very welcoming and friendly couple. Unfortunately, due to covid we didn't get to spend much time with them but we did a little social distancing around the fire pit one night! Easy parking, great hookups. Thank you both so very much for accommodating us during our stay. Hope to see you in AZ!

Very nice hosts

Our hosts were wonderful and very helpful. We enjoyed our stay. It was very easy to get in and out of the spot. We did have to back out but it was a straight back up which was easy even for our 35 ft fifth wheel. There's a pretty lake nearby. We would stay here again.

Nice folks, nice spot

We were warmly welcomed, guided to the site by host. Unfortunately we didn't have much visiting time, hopefully next trip.
Site was as described plus it had plenty of maneuvering room, a boon to novices like us.

Great location

This was by far the most comfortable offering we’ve had at any Boondocker’s Welcome location. We were offered 30 amp service, water hook up AND dump!
The hosts were very friendly! The location is not far from the turnpike and easy in/out.
Will definitely look them up on any trips that take us near them in the future!!

Fantastic hosts

We stayed for a night. We arrived before our host and set up. When she got home she came to say hello. Even offered use of their fire ring. Unfortunately it rained that day do we weren't able to take them up on the offer.

The next day she even came out to tell us good bye.

Such nice hosts!

Wines and covered bridges

What a great place. We stayed 2 nights and were welcomed warmly with a brochure of things to do in Ashtabula county. Gave us recommendations on the wineries and the covered bridges which is very close to them. We chatted with them for a couple of hours in the evening
If you like visiting wineries or covered bridges this is the place to be.
We hope to meet up with them on the road somewhere.

Great, peaceful stay!

Wish we could have stayed longer! The location was beautiful and there was plenty of room to park our 42ft fifth wheel. The hosts are amazing, we enjoyed chatting with them and they showed us all around the lake community. If you’re in the area, this is a great place to stop!
