Description

We’re right off the highway yet fairly quiet. We have a deck over looking the driveway and yard that has chairs and a grill with gas fireplace also. It’s a slice of heaven. Feel free to Check out a short Drone video if you want to see the drive and part of the street. We are putting in a separate parking spot that will be covered for our Truck Camper. House Rules

We don’t smoke due to medical issues so we ask to keep it in the camper or away from the house.

No wild parties it’s a quiet area.

Have a great time and feel free to use the grill on the deck.

Access Road Conditions

Road to access is regular street with a gravel driveway. If the Driveway doesn't work there is usually more than enough room on the street. We have started to put people up by the pole barn where we park our RV to give more privacy to our guest. If this doesn't work we will work with the street parking because the lower driveway needs to be able to be used for parking.

Tow Vehicle Parking Details

We live on a small culdesac right off of I40 in NC. Parking a tow vehicle could be done with prior planning but it needs to be discussed. It would be on the street. Camping on the Street is also an option for longer campers.

Great spot and convenient to Hwy 40

You will enjoy this gem of a spot! Very gracious hosts. You'll love meeting their fur babies. Statesville has a cute downtown area and if you are lucky you can visit the Farmer's market.

Great location, great people!

Had a great night's sleep in a nice safe neighborhood right off the freeway. Host was very nice, polite, and accommodating. Gave me a couple choices of places to park and answered any questions I had. I'd definitely recommend this location for anyone traveling through this area of NC. Thank you! 😀

Great communication

We had a delightful stay at Robins Nest!! They communicated to us promptly and thoroughly. Although we didn’t have a chance to visit, they welcomed us to delicious strawberries in their garden!!
We left a day early because of the heat, but wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!!

Grest Night

We met this couple in New Hampshire and stayed at Robin’s Nest for a stay on our way back to GA. What a great place to jump off the highway. Great company and conversation. Fellow campers lost of stories and friendship. Nice quiet place close to the highway.
