We are just about halfway between Jacksonville, FL and Tallahassee, FL an easy ride from I-10. We are 7 miles outside the city limits of Live Oak, FL on 5 acres. You will be parking on grass and will have access to water, household power, and we have a fire pit if you wish to have a campfire. Pets welcome!
None really other than no dogs off-leash as there are neighbors with dogs and it may create a problem.
Our driveway is 1/4 and is not paved but we have no problem getting in or out with our 5th wheel rig.
Tow vehicle can park anywhere. We are on 5 acres.
We do a lot of spur of the moment camping but feel free to reach out and if we are going to be home, we would love to host you!
We arrived to welcoming hosts and a beautiful, spacious Old Florida location. Hosts were helpful and friendly, and we enjoyed meeting them and visiting. This is a very quiet and peaceful location with exceptional hospitality and hosts were courteous of our privacy. We enjoyed our visit, were amazed by their long horn cattle, and had a truly wonderful night away. Thank you to our hosts! We will be back soon :)
Very thoughtful hosts. Jose lead me to a grassy area right next to their home. Had power to cool down my TT for my kitty. I was able to run the fantastic fan for a breeze all night long. They have the most beautiful long horn steer I have ever seen! Wish I had more time to get to know them. Maybe next time.
This is an easy in, easy out property. Jose and Susan delayed their plans to personally welcome us and direct us to the parking spot. We had a great peaceful nights sleep and in the morning Jose helped us out with a boost when we had a dead battery. Even our dog Timmy had fun getting to know some of the dogs and Long Horn cattle. Hoping to stay again next Snowbird Season.
The Rodriguez’s could not have been more welcoming and gracious. Even Spot gave us a warm welcome. Beautiful location.
Beyond delightful and worth the ten mile drive off I~10 to get to Casa Rodriguez!
I would love to go back and spend time with the hosts~
They were incredibly hospitable, accomodating and genuine in making sure I was set up comfortably~
Quiet, serene, wonderful place to lay my head down for a good night sleep before continuing traveling.
Easy to get to, host was very willing to help John out when we 1st arrived, as we had lost the keys to our coach. Town was just a short drive away, nice area. I was not feeling well when we arrived, a virus cold, & most of the time I slept, quiet & peacefully. We thanked them for our stay, as we continue north.
Waking up to the view of the longhorn cattle next to us in the field is an inspiration! A great wander around the perimeter of the fields.
And our hosts were very friendly and welcoming.
A lovely overnight stay. Thanks!
Boondockers is amazing. As soon as we got to the location we were welcomed with open arms and clicked with the hosts. Beautiful property, great location and great Southern hospitality. What more can you ask for. Did not want to leave. Thank you for a great stay. Sorry we were not at our best as we are suffering from allergies.
We had a very relaxing time with the Rodriguez’s they are a very nice loved couple. Loved looking at the long horns out my window would stay there again!!! They gave us our space and the hook ups were easy.
Beautiful property. Kind and hospitable. We had a lovely stay, a perfect respite between destinations. Thank you!
When we arrived we were met immediately by the hosts to show us where to park. They were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The setting was surrounded by trees and was very peaceful and serene. Even got pics of the longhorn cows for the grandkids. Thanks!
Lovely couple who hosted us on their beautiful domain surrounded by the watusi bulls. We would come back anytime.
Upon our arrival our hosts greeted us, wonderful quiet spot on large treed grassy area. Great night sleep.
We stopped for a night at Casa Rodriguez for an evening on our way into central Florida before Christmas. Because of their generous hospitality at that time, we wanted to stop for a couple of nights on our way out of Florida in early February. Susan and Jose, true to form, are incredibly interesting and generous BW hosts. The site they make available is very easy to maneuver to and the amenities are second to none. We enjoyed an evening of conversation about our life experiences and the opportunity to learn more about each other. We enjoyed the time immensely.
Thank you both for everything, We had an amazing time visiting your property and chatting with you! We will definitely stop by again if we are in the area and hope to hope we can return the favor someday. We will remember your hospitality!
Jose and Susan are wonderful hosts and make you feel welcome and still give you your space. The electric hookup was much appreciated! We will certainly be back when our travels bring us back this way.
If you're lucky they will make you some margaritas! ;)
Jose and Susan are two very funny and fun individuals to be around. They each have a great sense of humour, excellent whit, and an exceptionally welcoming attitude. Their ranch includes a number of dogs, long-horned cattle, and a very interesting and active mother-in-law is living on the property in a beautiful solar paneled home. We took a walking tour around the ranch, visiting with the cattle and finding peace and quiet here. Great people to meet. Great place to stay! We will try and return for a couple of days in the new year.
We had a relaxing experience at this location and would like to come back if in the area.
We recommend this host and location.
