Retired military guy who still loves to travel and meet new people. Details: A retired military guy from Newfoundland who somehow got rooted in Manitoba. I have spent the past few winter seasons exploring the warmer regions of the US from behind the wheel of a RV. During the summer months I take opportunities to camp & explore around the upper midwest & Manitoba - looking forward to branching out & seeing more of what our countries have to offer... I’m excited to be members & hope to be able to host in the future. Home Town: I’m originally from Newfoundland, Canada, currently reside just north of Winnipeg, Manitoba in the beautiful rural town of Petersfield. During the winters I head to warmer climates. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Since I’m new to BoonDockersWelcome.com I will have to reserve my favorite boondocking locations until I discover them. My travels have thus far taken me throughout Arizona & a detailed trip through Florida and a month long trip to Mexico - look forward to traveling between the upper Midwest/Manitoba from these states and exploring along the way. Skills or Expertise to Share: I’m pretty good at grilling.... other than that I’m kind of a jack of all trades master of none 🙂

Bob was not there that night but very accommodating to let me stay there by myself. Would have loved to of had a nice conversation with him. The spot was very easy to get into and they discover the next day that his place is actually on the water! Much appreciated the peacefulness. Thanks so much Bob.

We had an excellent stay! Very friendly host, level parking on gravel with plug in, located on the water. Enjoyed great conversations and hope that our paths cross again!!

Level lot, fields and stars! Quiet and beautiful. Host is super friendly and very accommodating. Private beach at the end of the road is great on hot days. Close enough to Winnipeg for convenience, but far enough for peace and quiet.
