We are one mile out of town on Highways 12 & 27 north of Black River Falls. We have 31/2 acres of forest land which makes for a very private environment. A very nice fire-ring is available in our back yard with "FREE" firewood, and picnic table with benches. A large secure outdoor dog kennel is also available for use. The back yard and/or front yard are also large enough for your usual yard games etc.
Our driveway is gravel but frequently leveled and about one block long. Some low hanging tree branches exist but have not been any problem in the past.
We have limited "turn-around" space but tow vehicles are welcome but may require disconnect to exit.
Please feel free to contact us anytime to see if we will be available. We would love to have you stay if we are not "On The Road Again", or wintering in Mesa Az..

We really enjoyed our stay at the Woodsy Retreat. Parking was easy and the spot was nice and shady among the beautiful trees! Hosts were welcoming and we appreciate their generousity!
This was a extremely pleasant stay, very peaceful, quiet wonderful place. Mr.Bob and Sally ensured we were settled, had wonderful campfire that we sat around and had good conversation, but also let us have privacy. I must say I enjoyed the two days we spent there and it was the much need rest that we needed to continue on with our journey. I hope to run across them in the future, wonderful people, stop there if in the area you will not regret this stay.
Wonderful hosts. Property is beautiful and easily accessible. Great time around the campfire. Highly recommend.
Sally and Bob were both just wonderful and helpful. They invited us to join them around a campfire with their family until the mosquitoes drove us into the house where we played cards. We enjoyed their company so much that we've invited them to stay at our home on their next trip east. We're sure that we will be seeing them again
