House Rules

Prefer no smoking. At very least take your cigarette ends with you or dispose of in the firepit. NO Generators after 10pm. Please turn outside lights off when you retire. We do live in the country - so we have multiple wild animals - skunks, fox, raccoons and even the occasional sighting of bald eagles - keep this in mind if you have small pets that need walking later in the evenings or even through out the day... We do have wifi but on an ask us basis (password required) besides - it pretty much only works in the house or back yard.. we are on country internet - lucky to have internet is more like it!. we like the - pack it in - pack it out concept... leave the spot nicer than you found it - mind you it should be just fine. clean up after your pets is a MUST. Arrivals after 1pm. Departures before lunch. Please advise your eta. Mostly - ENJOY your stay. :)

Enjoying retirement on PEI after retiring 10+ years ago from Toronto, Ontario. Working with the transit system in multiple modes of the travel system. Details: Enjoying the slow life on the island with kayaking, fishing, golfing and trying new things.. Health is something of concern as I do have a brain tumor which opens my eyes to enjoy life to the fullest.. my wife mindy does a fair amount of sewing on the island from alterations on wedding dresses to sewing for our conversions as making curtains and quilts etc for our bus...my passion is our bus conversion. We both take to the roads each winter searching for warmth. Home Town: Tyne Valley, Prince Edward Island, Canada Skills or Expertise to Share: tinker of all kinds of things

We had a one night quick in and out. Space was nice and flat. What we remember most about the stay was how quiet and peaceful it was. Would recommend and stay again.

Easy and flat area to set up in. Hosts popped in to say Hi next day as we arrived late.

Doug and Mindy were very kind to us, and offered us a lot of encouragement in handling some of the vehicle challenges we experienced before arriving at there place. Their cheery personalities had a very positive effect on us

Lovely place in front of an inlet with beautiful sunsets. Doug and Mindy made us feel like part of the family. They are so helpful and handy. We are new boodockers, and they were pleased to share their expertise with us. Doug helped us to upgrade our solar system and gave us a lot of advice. We had so much fun. Lobster night, seafood chowder night, jam nights with Jim and Doug playing guitar around the fire. We would love to stay longer , but the road was calling us.
