Over night in our parking lot, shop opens at 9 so you may have to leave around that time.
Please keep a low profile, we don’t want to disturb the neighbors. Enjoy a quite night in our neck of the island.
Please park in the lot behind the store. We are located across the street from the Cape Cod Canal bike path. We also have lots of excellent single track and mountain biking in the area if you're into it. Restaurants of note: Stomping Ground has incredible fresh food, nothing out of can or box, and great music. Elle's great food, and for cheap the Thai place next door is great, and you can bring the food to the brewery next door. Have fun and reach out if you need any more info.
Very nice, flat and spacious spot in buzzards bay. Nice shops, restaurants in the area as well as a park and a marina. Plus, it’s a great bike shop if needed.
This is a small parking lot behind a bicycle shop. It was very quiet and level there and we felt safe. The next morning, we rented a tandem bicycle and biked the nearby canal path. We had a lot of fun and would come back here for sure.
This host spot is in a nice little town. Right across the street was a wonderful park on the Cape Cod Canal. This evening there was even a small concert in the park. Ice cream, restaurants etc. in walking distance. And of course the bike store was nice and had much more than bikes in there, sunglasses, clothing, accessories, very nice.
Very nice communication with our host, Jim! We appreciated receiving some recommendations from him on where to eat and loved the Thai restaurant next door! Very authentic Thai food!
Next time would love to rent bikes from him, perhaps even a tandem bike!
Thank you for your hospitality!
Good communication and instructions given before stay. We had to cancel based on changes in our plans (to be clear, we canceled, not the host) but hope to stay in the future and check out biking the canal path.
Nothing special as stated. We rolled up late and left early. It was a good spot for a quick overnight headed up the cape. Thanks for the stay
I just needed a quiet, safe place to spend one night in my camper. Jim responded promptly, fit me in and followed up. The whole thing went off without any trouble at all. 10/10, 5 stars, however you put it, I would totally stay there again and I highly recommend you consider staying there too if you need a place near the Cape.
Many thanks to Jim for excellent communication and this quiet, paved and level spot.
Enjoyed our stay here. Host quick to reply. Felt safe. Weather didn’t cooperate but would be great to go in warmer weather.
Nice quiet location, close to everything. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate, but we had a quiet, restful night. Felt very safe. Thank you once again for accommodating us!
Jim was very quick to respond and easy going. Grateful to have a spot for the night a mere block from the Cape Cod canal (walking distance).
It was a great overnight stop. Very close to the ferry for Martha's vineyard. Worked out perfect.
We really appreciated the safe and quiet spot as we were passing through for the night. We didn’t get to meet the host, but he was very nice and answered our questions through the website messages.
Thanks to our host for a great and easy overnight stay. For traveller's thinking about this site, an after-business arrival time makes our host's life easier. Also, a hike to the RR bridge over the canal is definitely warranted.
Sail world was a great place to stay the night. Kinda noisy with the train and auto traffic until 11pm, but then quieted down a lot. We appreciated the stay and would do it again. Thanks.
I never met the host but they communicated what I needed and it was a nice spot to park for the evening. Great mural by the way! Thanks so much :)
We enjoy the night we stayed at Jim site.
Jim was very friendly and give us informations about bike trails near is region.
If you pass near, the Cape Cod Canal bike trail is very nice (north and south of the canal).
Thanks Jim for your hospitality. Hope to see you again.
Jim is a very helpful host. The parking place is very quiet at night and located a short walk from a lovely park, bike trail and Thai food. Church bells only operate in civilised hours!
Welcoming and friendly hosts with a great location to share. Rent a bike at their fabulous bike/sail shop and peddle the scenic Cape Cod Canal Trail. Don't feel like cooking? Be sure to try the excellent Thai Restaurant right down the street.
