We have a 1.2 acer parcel of land that the USWP Volunteer mounted patrol & US Water Patrol uses as a base of operations.
My home is also here. we have 2 areas in the very back that is great for tent camping called the horse hideout 1&2. also in the back we have an area of 140' X 90' grassy field we have had a few campers and horse trailers set up.
The middle is fenced off for horses with a 2 horse, horse barn.
The front area is about 200' X 90' this is mostly family area but the fire pit and cooking pit is located here. we have also set up horse trailers and campers along the fence for the horse area.
The front has a full parking area this is where most transits stay that just need a place to layover for a night as it is just at the road and easy to get in and out. about 55' deep I have water, limited electric 110v. and 1 dump site.
NOTE: I listed max one night However may be able to stay longer depending on USWP/USWPMP status at the time.
Horses are welcome must use horse run to enter/exit paddock.
Dogs may need to be on leash at times.
If you use electric water other then basic need, Hay, Feed. a donation would be appreciated ( not required but goes to help with expense)
Any gates must be closed if you open
driveway off main road to get back to the camping area campers can drive between house and fence then a sharp s turn between house and garage then to back area. NOTE: I pull my 35' Class A RV with a 16' horse trailer in and out all the time I also pull my 40' horse trailer in and out... Looks tight but if you know what you're doing easy.
I have a parking lot in front
Same day for 1 night ok if having horses. other then that please contact with notice and if available will have you come on in. . Also note although Rvs can get to the back sometimes the back is not useable do to the mounted patrol using back.so parking in the front parking lot may be necessary we can provide water/limited electric, and have a dump area. Tent camping anytime.
