Great Hosts & Location

It's always a wonderful time when your hosts are so knowledgeable about the area you are visiting. We had so many choices of things to do coming into the Memorial weekend. Two many choices to checkout everything in just 2 days, but all worth doing. A restaurant nearby that had the best pork tenderloin sandwiches, artists painting along the Des Moines river and a country store that had just about anything you could think of, were just a few of the areas offerings. We would love to stay here again.

Blessing in disguise.

Had a great time here, it started as soon as the host arrived honking the horn. They made us feel very welcome and were very helpful. They were boondockers virgins, so I hope we didn't scare them off since we were their first guests. They went out of their way to help me find mushrooms. We were treated to a guided tour of the local history. Topped it off with a couple of the best pork tenderloin sandwiches and blackberry ice cream at the local dive. ( Thank you for your service) haha LOL! No really, thanks again.
