Beautiful country views, room to walk and enjoy being outside. Water is available to fill your fresh tank. Just a short drive from Interstate 71.
No smoking. House and barn and outbuildings are private. While you may watch the animals, do not pet animals unless you have received permission from me. Well behaved dogs / pets are welcome with approval. Please clean up after them.
Horseshoe drive, somewhat narrow openings. Can pull our 34' rig in ok. Longer RV's may be ok, just ask.
Plenty of room for tow vehicles.
Availability may not be reliable, Shoot me a message and see if we are going to be around.
We were greeted by our host family right away and they were very friendly. The kids brought out their kitty and baby goat for us to pet. The farm has 10 acres back and beside the house, but we parked on the grass next to the driveway. We had a restful night and left early for a bike ride in Mt Vernon.
I had a nice, peaceful night at Sunny Hill Farm.
Nice family and beautiful surroundings. I recommend!
We so enjoyed our stay with this wonderful family set in a beautiful country setting. We had friendly conversations and got to meet some of the farm animals, all of which have names. Children were very friendly and interesting to talk to also. Had electric hook-up which is all we needed. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
Easy access, just a few minutes from the I71 interstate. Quite country setting, wished we could have stayed longer.
We had a nice quiet evening. There were electrical hook ups. The owner was very nice and helpful.
The host was very courteous and stated if I had any questions to ask. Nice country settings
This was our Boondockers Welcomee stay.. Host and family was a pleasure to be around, accommodations were good. Beautiful farm country. Our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable.
The directions were right on. For us it was easy in and easy out. Lovely hobby farm. We weren't able to spend much time with them but what time we did have was very nice.
Love the country, slow pace, respectful host place and area. Very peaceful and definitely hoping to stay again. "HPYTRLS" and hope to see you down the road.
The Dob Pod
We enjoyed our stay and conversations with the family.
It was a scenic property in the country and our son enjoyed seeing the goats and dogs.
Hosts shared some tips about local places to see. The town of Mt. Vernon and the Aerial Foundation Park were worth a visit.
It was pretty easy access in and out with our fifth wheel.
Thank you for the safe and relaxing stay!
This stay was very close to i-71. We have a big rig and the roads were easily driven on. It was nice to wake up to a rooster crowing. This would make a good one night stay for anyone in transit.
Beautiful location with adorable baby goats! Host came out to help us get parked and hooked up to electric. We were able to add water to our tank. Quiet spot in a country location.
Circumstances did not allow us much interaction with JBryant - unfortunately. The site was fine, but maybe the hosts dogs did not think so - they seemed distressed all night. Perhaps somewhere on the property not so close to the dogs' enclosure would have been preferable.
We had trouble communicating by text - our messages did not seem to get through.
Thanks for having us!

JBryant and family were lovely hosts who live on a small farm with a beautiful view. The driveway was perfect, level and electric close by. Very peaceful for a good nights sleep. Their miniature goats are adorable and they offered fresh eggs too. Wonderful stay!
Our host and his kids were very welcoming and pleasant. They couldn’t be there when we first got there, but allowed us to come in and get set up anyway. Once they got home we were greeted by our host with a dozen fresh eggs as well as his daughter bringing out a couple of the goats to pet. Such a nice family!! We would definitely make this a stop again if we are in the area.
The host & daughter were there to greet us, get the power cord & water hose. We really enjoyed this beautiful stay, private, quiet and relaxing. The animals were a treat to see & our host brought us a dozen farm fresh eggs! His younger daughter was returning from a recital and gave us a mini concert on her fiddle, so cool! Would definitely stay here again if in the area.
Beautiful location...so nice to get off the interstate.
Thankful we had the option for a quick rest away from the traffic.
Great hosts again! We stayed at Sunny Hill Farm for the second time in our BoondockersWelcome.com time. They are gracious hosts and the view from Sunny Hill is very relaxing and peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay.
We had a great stop at Sunny Hill Farm. The family was very welcoming. We got to hold the baby goats. They are adorable. We were given some farm fresh eggs for breakfast. Thank you for your hospitality.
Host was very accommodating about our late arrival and water issue. Setting was ideal and host and family were very welcoming and kind. Visiting with the animals an added bonus!!
What a great place to spend the night. Beautiful setting and enjoyed visiting with the family. The animals and fresh eggs were a treat. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality. We would certainly stay again if our travels bring us this way again.
Even tho Jbryant wasn't there, they graciously allowed us to stay. Neighbor came by to make sure we were all set. Even Ginger the dog came by to check in!! Very enjoyable spot. I would definitely stay here again.
Host was super nice and let me come in even though it was a little later than usual. Directed me into my spot. I didn't get to chat much because I was trying to make up some time on the road but would love to stop by again sometime.
This was a beautiful, scenic place to overnight. We were grateful for the 30amp hookup and the assist with getting placed for the night. It was SUPER windy, cold and wet, so we just hunkered down for the night and slept well. Easy access, about 10 minutes off of 71. Pull through spot.
This was my FIRST stop using the Boondockers Welcome membership. Perfect first time stop. Thanks so much.
Host got us settled in and gifted us later with fresh eggs and squash. We were there to visit our nephew and family about 35 miles away. Worked out perfectly. Had time to chat as we left, their children were very sweet and told us about all their animals. Turns out we had a friend in common who lives in another state...small world.
RDAcres is a great place to stay. The hosts were gracious and helpful during our time with them. Beautiful quiet and peaceful place to lay our heads both nights we stayed there.
Quiet place, easy in and out. In a very lovely country road.
Perfect spot for a night or two.
A pleasant stay. We really appreciated having a place to park and lay our heads.
Host was very friendly and helpful. Nice quiet place with beautiful view
JBryant was very accommodating. After having issues with our generator, he made special arrangements to provide an electric outlet for us to plug into for the night. Had the pleasure of meeting his son and getting a tour of the backyard animals and garden. They also shared some fresh picked vegetables. We loved every minute of our stay at RDAcres, beautiful, peaceful, friendly, AMAZING!!!
Perfect way to start out as boondocker. :)
Easy place to find and park. Wonderful place with a great view. They were very helpful to me as a newbie to camping. Showed me several things to help me. Wonderful bonfire, great company. Very generous people. Made me feel like family. I would love to go back there.
We had to Stay a couple of days because our truck broke down. Hosts were very gracious allowing us to extend her stay by couple of days.
