I had a great visit, albeit too brief, with these folks. Very friendly with interesting experiences to share. With COVID, we kept it all too short, but the conversation was fun nonetheless. And a wonderful spot so close to Kingman, AZ a very cool, Rt 66 town.
Unfortunately, I was not able to stay. Because I ran out of time on my trip, I will be back; I was so excited that the idea of being able to meet this soul who so willingly shares her property with like minded souls.
Blessed be,
Juanita
We had an amazing time here. The place has great views and the hosts r the best - tons of fun... it was hard to leave. Lola and teddy the dogs r the cutest.
Thanks :)
Spent one night here. Met all the animals ... horse, goat, 2 dogs plus a few hummingbirds an quail galore. Host was flexible with my last-minute change of plans which was very helpful. Pretty spot with some desert mountains just down the road. Glad to have met you, Moeie, and all the critters! Thanks!
Very friendly folks. Trusted us to get there before they were home.
Moieie60 was one of the most amazing, generous and just wonderful people ever!
I not only spent time watching the sun set with my host, but brushed Cobbler the goat and Samson the horse.
Plenty of space with convenient hookups.
I will be returning in the winter to stay and visit longer!
I had a great stay at Hummingbird Golden Ranch! The hosts even made some corned beef and cabbage for St. Paddy’s day and shared with me!
Wow! Our hosts were very kind, friendly and very discreet ... We had a very nice quiet night. Surrounded by small animals, the place is very bucolic.
The 1.3 mile dirt road to Hummingbird, Golden Ranch is rough and you need to go slow. The entrance/ exit gate was a little difficult with our extended van & 24 foot trailer. Nice property & views. Victor & Maureen are helpful, generous & friendly. Had a wonderful 3 hour conversation with Maureen & I want her for my sister.
Mo was flexible and welcoming as we changed our plans and came a day early. We arrived just before dark, and it was cold, so we didn't have an opportunity to visit very much. The site is roomy and easy to maneuver, with her horse and goat as unobtrusive neighbors.
This was in a great location, very easy access to 68 and 93. Dirt road was easily accessible. They have two cute dogs that were friendly, saw lots of rabbits, sunset was beautiful too. The hosts were so kind and welcoming to me and my dog. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks you two!
It was a great stay. So many animals.. bunnies, friendly dogs, birds, a horse and goat to excite my little pup (and me). The hosts were perfect, the neighbors friendly, and the view fabulous. Hope to stop again. Very grateful. 💕
Dude, best stay so far! My hosts were so sweet and kind. I even got a plate of food the first night!! The place had plenty of space for me to turn around and to park. I saw them a few times and got to chat some and get to know them. They invited me to go to Laughlin one afternoon, but unfortunately I was working.
I was welcomed back any time and definitely will be happy to see them again if I am on my way through there.
Great visit, thanks guys!! Hosts with the most!
We could only stay one night and had to leave early, but the short time we visit with the hosts was great. They’ve got lovely pets and a great place to park. Would stay again.
The hosts were so welcoming and kind. The animals are adorable. The area is beautiful and I look forward to returning and spending time with all of them. Very grateful to have met these wonderful people.
Moe is the sweetest person you can met. She took care of us like family members. My daughter, wife and me love her. We will come back soon, promise.
What a wonderful couple! I hated to rush off after just one nights stay & promised to spend more time next time which we are both very much looking forward to!
This was our first Boondockers Welcome stay.
Moeie60 accommodated us even though we arrived late due to a rough travel day.
Thank you Mo, we will definitely be back!
This was my first Boondockers Welcome, and I couldn't have been more pleased!
The host was very kind. My request was accepted, in spite of dealing with a death in the family. The host was very welcoming, offered plug in, which I didn't need to accept. He introduced me to the horse, goat & dogs, and was very accommodating regarding my Pug who has short dog syndrome. The location is easy to find, and the site is level. It couldn't have been easier!
Homecoming !!
Thanks and kindest to you both (2nd visit). See you Monument Valley next year.
-Kiwi RV (b&M)
The hosts were very nice with us, we were able to have nice conversation with them.
The location is beautiful with some animals in the backward. nice to look at them.
They allow to fill up the fresh water tank and the terrain is level.
We were there only one night and it was a great stop to make.
Thank you Moeie60!
I arrived on May 26, but instead of leaving the next day, my hosts Moe and Vic let me stay until the 29th. They are wonderful hosts, friendly and accommodating. Their two dogs are friendly and well behaved. Lola the Rottweiler is a sweet baby that almost seemed sorry we, my cat Lola (yes, same name) and I were leaving today. Thank you for the great stay. Bless you both!
This is my second time staying with this host. She's wonderful, hospitable, and charming as ever! Gobb (the goat) and Sampson (the horse) were out back cavorting around this time having fun, and the dogs (Lola and Teddy) were a joy to interact with. I can't recommend staying here enough :)
Very special place. 360 Mountain View’s
I had my Mr Ed moment with a beautiful horse.
Great sharing stories.
Moe couldn't have been more accommodating and kind. Would definitely recommend her as a host!
Moe is the most perfect host you can have. She is caring, generous and it is so interesting to talk with her. We were sick and she took good care of us. Our daughter fell in love with her. She is really a good person.
Hope to see you soon Maureen. 😘😘😘
The location was beautiful and the host was very warm and welcoming to me and my dogs. Had a nice, relaxing stay and would definitely recommend this spot! Would love to return to again next time I'm passing through this direction.
Staying with Moe was the best unexpected surprise that could have happened to us. We ended up staying with her for an extended period (due to weather) and got to spend time together. Definitely one cool lady everyone should meet if passing through this area! Having such a gracious host really makes the experience an unforgettable one!! Thanks Moe! ❤💛💚💙💜
The property is nice. Pretty big and plenty of space for you to enjoy the day. Sam and Gob (horse & goat) were fun to be around. They love carrots! Great spot! Highly recommend!
Unfortunately I we were not able to clear their gate to stay with Moe. As another said if you have a hitch (bumper pull) rig and the entire trailer is longer than about 22ft, you will not be able to clear their offset gate. CK with the Host, as they're planning on moving the gate and making it wider.
Moe directed us to another place and later sent a msg with two more accommodation's. We ended up at the Settlers Inn RV park.
moeie60 is so kind, welcoming, and just a wonderful person that you should definitely meet. Also, it's totally worth it to say hi to her goat and horse if you get a chance to when you stay. She's so sweet and funny, and her yard faces some gorgeous mountains. There was snow when we were there!
11/10 awesome :D
Our host unexpectedly had to go out of town on the day of our arrival. This coincided with the arrival of a strong winter snow storm which would drop about 9 inches of snow by the following morning. We elected to stay at a local rv park in Golden Valley. It all worked out well for us and we had several phone conversations with the host, both her checking on us, and us checking on her during this rare winter heavy snow fall event for this area. We would try to stay at this location if we were to pass through again.
Second time with this host. Wouldn’t have missed it for the world.
The goat (sorry I’ve forgotten his name), is hilarious.
Moe is a great host; she is generous and friendly, and goes above and beyond as a Boondocking host. Sam and Cob added great entertainment to this stay. We enjoyed 3 nights in a clean, level site with electricity, views, and an animal show. What could be better?
I actually visited a realtor.
I liked everything about my stay here.
They were always checking to see I had everything I needed.
My stay with Mo was great. She got me all settled in a great spot, & then invited me in for dessert & some nice conversation. We felt right at home. And I loved visiting with her horse & goat, they were an extra bonus. I would stay again
What a lovely (although short) stay we had at Moe and Vic. These people are so sweet and kind! They have a goat and horse from the shelter and that's exactly how to describe them: good caring people! A true recommendation!
M and V have carved out a special piece of the Arizona desert and it is obvious of their intense love of their animals which includes a frisky horse - Samson, a rather over sexed goat - Gobbler, a vigorous dog - whose name escapes me, and assorted rabbits and passing wildlife. Our hosts were welcoming and engaged in enjoyable conversation. The site was easily accessed for our 30ft class C, off a very short couple of unpaved roads and our parking was level close to the house. Sunsets to die for. To our hosts - thank you - interesting and fun.Don't forget - a change of intensity will pay huge dividends.
Kindest b&m.
We arrived to the location - ok you have to know - road is not paved, so drive slow when you get off HWY.. but most important is - if you longer then 25f don’t try to come. We are 38f Motorhome and was able to drive on road but was not able to fit into the gate . So we talk to owner she seems very nice person and told us down dross boondoking place we can use for a night.
So if we would able to fit would love to stay
Thank you for letting us stay on your ranch, it was very nice! Your horse and goat are really friendly, we liked them a lot. After staying with you we visited lake Havasu - the water was warm and clean, thanks for recommended us this place :)
Best wishes,
Zimniak family
