Our RV site is a level concrete Driveway or on an equally level Gravel edge of the Road. We can offer you a 15 Amp Outlet and Water along with Wifi! Suggested Local Attractions:Mc Leans Sawmill Heritage site,.Cruise the Alberni Inlet on the Francis Barclay! We have an Industrial Heritage Museum and nearby Sproat Lake is the Home to the worlds largest operational Flying Boats in existence. The Martin Mars ! A short walk from our place is The Papermill Dam Park with an old fashioned Swimming Hole and access to some decent River Fishing! Port Alberni is Canada’s Fishing Capital, we may be able to hook you up with a Fishing Guide and a Charter Boat. There are several nice restaurants and lots of Grocery Stores in the City Of Port Alberni! There is a City Swimming Pool ,a Library and a Museum. You will discover for yourselves many hidden gems nearby including the Tallest Waterfall in North America, Della Falls!

Location
Access Road Conditions: We are located a short distance off Highway 4 on the western edge of the City Of Port Alberni. No problem getting to our site or back to the highway! Our street is paved and well lit for late arrivals or after a night on the town! We have on occasion parked our own 38 Foot rig across the front of our lot as there is enough width on the gravel to get completely off the pavement and slide outs are not an issue. We recommend rigs longer than 20 feet to park in this manner. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Street parking is available .

Retired Couple who travel a lot! Details: We are both retired after a long working career! We are active RVers who travel extensively throughout Western Canada the USA and Mexico! Rob is pretty well versed in Troubleshooting RV issues! Jean is just ....well pretty nice and really enjoys playing cards! Home Town: Port Alberni, BC The Fishing Capital of Canada! Favorite Boondocking Locations: We have travelled to so many wonderful places that it is impossible to pick an absolute favorite! Skills or Expertise to Share: Experienced in RV trouble shooting and solutions! There’s not much that can’t be repaired!

Rob is such a nice gentleman! He was prompt in communicating, and very hospitable. We had a nice chat about traveling to warm locations for the winter. He made us feel welcome, sharing his wifi login, and inviting us in for coffee. I highly recommended this location. He offered a safe and friendly place. We hope to come back.

After delays due to the fire and work on Route 4 which is the east west route to Port Alberni, Ucluelet and Tofino, I finally made it across. The host was totally accommodating with my delays, and it was with great pleasure I finally made it to their home. In spite of their pending departure for a cruise to Alaska, they made me very welcome, and I spent some happy time with them. They are excellent company, and even managed to find a friend to give me a much-needed hair-cut. They allowed me to stay beyond the initial period while I got my truck fixed. I hope to meet them again.
