Quiet country

Had a wonderful few days at this quiet country place. Our host and hostess gave us a warm welcome and we had no problem backing into our spot. Had some nice morning shade. We enjoyed being able to set out side in our lawn chairs and just enjoy the day. We were able to camp here and go visit several friends that we had in the area and had not seen in years. They had a nice shady back forty where I was able to walk our dog. Thanks so much for this privilege of camping here.

Great Stay in a Convenient Location

We had good communications with our host prior to our stay. Upon our arrival she greeted us and gave us the choice of several places to park. We parked in a level spot near their house and were very grateful for their offer of 15 Amps.
Our host suggested some points of interest and things to do the area, the Susquehanna State Park was a hit, Fisherman's Park with black eagles, and Conowingo Hydro Dam were interesting, we even checked out historic Port Deposit.
Mother Nature gave us a bonus, something we don’t get to experience back home the Casitas' 17 year cycle had just begun, and we now know their sweet song is very similar our Peepers.
We had prior plans to meet old friends in Baltimore (only :50 away; plan on a fun filled day in town and at the Inner Harbor), regrettably we had to stay on a schedule otherwise we would have requested a longer stay to get to know our hosts and the area, but there is always next time.

Great stay!

Very pleasant visit. Parked in the shady grove near the house. Next to US Route One and not far from I-95. Acres of corn fields and lots of horse pastures. Great hosts.

Escape from crazy campgrounds for holiday weekend

Perfect place to escape holiday crowds. Hosts helped us get in and parked and set up. Let us borrow extra blocks for leveling. All in all quiet, peaceful stay. Hope to stay again when in the area.

Great time

Big thanks to YOU GUYS
We had issues with time and got there in the dark and HUBBY helped me back in and even offered a electric hook up. This was a nice place to spend the night in quiet surroundings as aposed to a Walmart parking lot. Thanks again, You Guys were Great.
GOD BLESS

Perfect overnight spot

After a long day of traveling, it was good to find an easy accessible stop with a field for my dogs to run around.
Hosts were willing to help in any way.

Such kind hosts

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in this beautiful peaceful neighborhood. The location was great to go to Baltimore and Lancaster. The hosts went above and beyond not only letting us use electricity and fill up more fresh water, but when our furnace when out before a very cold night they helped us get what electricity we needed to keep our family warm. We are so thankful for their kindness and would absolutely stay again.

Great Hosts

Friendly and sweet couple, greeted us on arrival and got us situated on their charming country spot 😊Gave us info on local attractions and a referral for our brake issue. Despite us both having vehicle problems we manage to chat a couple of times. The eagle viewing was awesome and so were our 2 side trips to historical cities. Thanks for hosting us.

Firefly Heaven

Large, quiet place in the country with hundreds of sparkling fireflies. Kids enjoyed playing in their back yard.
Didn't get to socialize a lot with our hosts due to our busy schedule (in the area for work).
First day they were available to show us where to set up. We had an issue with setting up and M jumped in to assist. K shared with me some nice places to take the kids. Their dog was sweet and friendly, even when ours wasn't friendly to him.
Really appreciate enjoyed our stay, the area (if you have kids check out Havre De Grace library). Would love to stay again if we are in the area.
