We often have two Guests during the peak Florida season. We can host one unit >35ft and another <20ft (only 15 amp service). Check with us to see if our second space is taken... to enjoy the best of Florida. We are hoping our guests will share some of their time with us telling their stories, give us advice for RV living and a new friend with a similar interest in travel. Weather permitting, the back-yard Pool and BBQ are available to enjoy! We are flexible with all of the site, please ask for accommodation.

House Rules

PETS: For a pet you must cleanup after them. We do have wild animals so pets must be kept close by. ( otters, geese, possum, coyotes, lots of birds)....

NO SMOKING on the property. No food or trash left on the grounds.

There is NO facility to dump your tanks here on our property.

We do have access to 15 amp electric service and fresh water... our electrical panel limits any use of RV Air Conditioning systems, but we can help to keep the batteries charged. You may need long cord!

Access Road Conditions

From US 19, West on Belleair Road. We have 1 1/2 Acre in the City, lots of Trees, a Creek and a great pool. Belleair Rd is two-lane local thoroughfare, high-traffic at times. We have two Drive-way accesses. East driveway is narrow (can still be used) but with a ditch on both sides; the West driveway (a private drive) should be used. Turn left on the private road on west side of property - then turn left again onto the property. If we are home, you will see our coach parked. Try not to drive down the private road - there is no easy turnaround. Possible pull thru parking if you're staying for one night.

Tow Vehicle Parking Details

We have two spots, one for a 35ft and another for a smaller <20ft (aka van, pop-up). Unfortuantely only 15AMP electricity. We have a few different locations where you can park for your tow trailer or tow vehicles.

Often we have two Boondock guests with small "Class B" rigs. We do take a lot of last minute trips but feel free to give us a shout to see if we can accommodate you.

Lots of fun!

We enjoyed our stay here. So close to so many different things to do. Our hosts were welcoming, knowledgeable and we really enjoyed our visit with them. Thanks!

Definitely a Slice of Paradise

Dave and Sherry were a very kind and generous couple who welcomed us after sunset with a Hurricane Lamp because our previous camping situation made us late. They always welcome you form the road because the entrance is a bit challenging to see at night. They are a very conversational couple and on our last night we had the privilege of sitting near a wood fire in their backyard dialoguing on a number of RV-related issues and concerns. We hope to see them again.

Great Location

Wonderful hosts and perfect location. Beautiful and spacious spot to park and rest. Close enough to bike to shopping and bike trail. Also, a quick Uber ride to the beaches and nearby cities. This is the possibly the best city Boondocking experience.

So much fun!

What a beautiful property to spend a few days! Hosts are wonderful engaging and generous, so glad we got to know them. Property is central to a lot of things, Clearwater Beach (dog friendly on the north end), St. Pete's entertaining downtown, cycling the causeway, Tarpon Springs and Honeymoon Island. There is a large park half mile west with jogging and biking trails. Stop here, you will not be disappointed!

Awesome all-around experience

Not only is this location beautiful and spacious, the hosts are wonderful and gracious - I can't thank them enough for their hospitality. They allowed extra days, I enjoyed time with them at their bonfire, enjoyed their pool, and met fellow boondockers also staying there who are great as well. Perfect experience!

Very nice stop, great location to get out and see different things. Enjoyed a fire in the backyard with my hosts. The are very kind and had lots of great suggestions. They are on a busy road if traffic noise bothers you, I find it like white noise. I would definitely recommend this spot.

Nice hosts

Spent four nights, nice shaded spot in the front yard nice people very friendly lots of good information on local stuff to do. The only drawback was a little bit of road noise but wasn't to bad.

Our new friends in Clearwater

Well. Sometimes words fail to adequately describe people and events. But, we were thrilled to meet such warm & welcoming hosts, with instant rapport and good conversation. Their place, Belleair Cuore, is only 20 minutes away from Clearwater Beach, where we had a fabulous time at the Suncoast Jazz Festival (traditional New Orleans jazz in all its variations & styles). We invited our BdW hosts to join us there on Saturday and were very pleased they did and enjoyed the music as we did.
There is way more to do in this area than one could attempt in an entire season, and Sherry and David will be happy to provide a place of respite while you go explore.

A little gem near ocean

We really enjoyed our stay with yowinetree. The site was charming with lot of trees. Our hosts were generous and friendly and it's about 10 min to ocean

We were feeling like home

Thank you again
We have appreciated our stay. Near from everything and safe. Happy to have met you. Very Nice peuple. Excellent Hosts

Slice of paradise indeed!

We have only one regret - that our schedule dictated we couldn't stay more nights with Sherry at her beautiful oasis. It was heaven sitting out by the pool at sunset, seeing the pink sky through the trees and enjoying a drink and great conversation with Sherry (David was working the polls, it being election night). Our little dogs got on very well and mine was very happy to have a huge yard where he could indulge in his favourite activity - squirrel patrol. We look forward to perhaps returning on our way west in December.

Great hosts in a lovely setting. We enjoyed our time in this little haven. Close to everything yet the beautifully landscaped yard and pool has the feel of a tropical paradise.

Paradise indeed!

This was our first boondock experience! What a beautiful place and so close to things we needed as new RVers. We will return for some great fellowship and steaks on the grill!
