Within 1 mile to Opryland and Opry Mills shopping mall and Opry Hotel. A 10 minute drive to downtown Nashville and all the attractions of Music City. Peaceful neighborhood, low low crime area, quiet, a panoramic view over Cumberland River onto pastureland. A private home where the owners are married and retired with two English Setters.
No drugs outside your RV. Stay reasonably sober. Clean up after your pets. Don't fall off the bluff. Don't pee on Debbie's flowers, the Setters do enough. This is a quiet neighborhood so real loud music won't be appreciated by the neighbors.
Level, paved drive about 60 yards long with plenty of space to turn around on a two Lane paved road.
Paved drive with a turn around.
First timers at this so we will play it by ear.
Music City is the home of the Grand Ole Opry but we have blues, jazz and any other music venue you desire. NFL, Tennessee Titans, NHL, Nashville Predators, minor league baseball, Vanderbilt University and all the other attractions a small big town can offer.
We arrived early and no sooner had we settled in, than our host offered to take us on a tour. What a welcomed surprise! Their home is very close to the new opera venue, surrounded by a spectacular hotel.....a must visit in Nashville. We loved getting to know them. Great location.
The hosts are amazingly sweet people. They were so welcoming. We arrived and Steve took me on a quick mini tour of the neighborhood to show me around and give me some tips, while Deborah visited and welcomed my wife and kids.
As seen in the pics, their driveway does curve a little and has some trees and bushes lining it which provide great shade and ambience but do make the drive in a little tight. Our Class C is 11.5' high and did rub a little from the trees up top and along the sides. We made it work, but big rigs may struggle. Smaller Class B's, C's and trailers shouldn't have an issue really. Also, behind the main drive they have a big back yard where they may let you turn around if needed.
We would definitely stay again when in the area. Again, great people, very inviting and very giving. Thanks for letting us stay! :)
Steve and Debbie go above and beyond to assist. Very helpful with local area directions and short tour of Nashville.
Steve and Deborah are great people. If you’re in Nashville and need a place to stay this is it. They’ve spent there whole lives there so they can give you good travel advice. Talk nice to Deborah and she might share some of her home baking with you. I’m enjoying some of her banana loaf with blueberries and pecans as I write this! Cheers guys for being so friendly and welcoming!
Steve and Deborah and their two English Setters were very welcoming. The site is large and room in the back yard to turn around if your rig isn't too big. Watch for some low branches on the big tree. Steve and Deborah offered us a tour of Nashville though we were too tired to take them up on it. The dogs pop out of the house as needed so if you have a dog, there may be some early morning barking. Otherwise, a quiet and friendly spot.
What a great couple they were so welcoming the moment we arrived in town. Showed us around and gave us good advice about the local area.
We had such a great time staying at "Welcome to Nashville". They were so incredibly kind and hospitable to our family. We had a great time getting to know them and their two fun dogs. They were so helpful to us, not just in offering us a place to stay for the night, but in their care, conversation and generosity.
