This guys is very sympatic and makes us Feel comfortable large lot and easy To take a walk into town in the evening.
A very welcoming host. We had free water, power and WiFi, a large, flat grass area and an offer to let the host know if we needed anything. Couldn't have been better.
Our hosts were actually on their own trip but let us stay at their place for a couple of days and allowed us to have power, water and even an internet connection for our stay. Their son, who was onsite visiting, was very welcoming and helpful. Aylmer is a quiet friendly town but the ice cream store was unfortunately closed for the season. A visit to the local community of Sparta is also highly recommended,
My second happy stay with this lovely couple and their quiet, secluded site.
Even though our hosts were traveling in Western Canada they responded to our request and accepted it. They arranged for their son to act in their place and he was great. Helped us to locate on the site, hooked up to power and told us how to find the shopping about four blocks away. Site is level grass and was very easy to get into.
Found some surprising spots to visit including a Honey producer and a collection of trucks, trailers and other memorabilia dating back to the early days of gas powered vehicles in Canada
This is a great location for exploring central Aylmer area. It is easy to find and get into. The Hosts are very gracious and offer 15 AMP electric, water and WIFI. We had a quiet two nights. The downtown is a short walk and offers several eating and shopping opportunities.
The Hosts are very knowledgeable about the sights and attractions to see.
We enjoyed our stay and will request this location again when in the area and highly recommend to others.
Host was very kind and welcoming. Shared local interests with us. And told us of an ice cream place within walking distance!! Worth the walk!
Well, we are impressed by Canadians! We requested a place to stay overnight and even though our host was out of town, he offered for us to stay anyway! Quite a kind offer, and we loved our stay! It was quiet, and peaceful, and in a beautiful neighborhood! We hope to meet our host on the way back to the US this fall. Thanks again for a great stay!
We stayed overnight at the Cowster side lot, arriving about 7pm. After meeting the hosts, we took a short stroll around the pretty downtown and then tucked in for the night. Cowster side lot was just what we needed - a quiet and safe place to boondock one night on our extra long weekend quest to hike the great trails along the Lake Eire coast. This was our very first Boondockers Welcome experience. It was perfect.
I was warmly welcomed and greatly enjoyed my stay in a nice quiet corner. Also close to amenities.
