Have you stayed at this host location?
Leave a reference for this hostwe are located 2 mi. from a 4 lane hwy - to/from Pittsburgh, Pa.. and about nearly almost 25 miles from downtown Pitt.. lotsa' attractions there - too many for me to list, best to access via Google.. 2 Walmarts, ea. about 6 mi. from here.. small shopping center near here.. a few restaurants also nearby...
nothing out of the ordinary.. just be courteous as such..
anyone interested/planning to park here should maybe call first 'cause I go campin' myself.. What!
our driveway is accesable [sp?] from the side road, which comes off of a state road.. driveway is slightly upgrade so be kinda' careful when pulling onto the driveway so U don't drag your tail on road... otherwise all should B OK... our property is also slightly sloped [which is called 'Pa. level!'] but should B no problem for 'experienced' drivers.. sorta'..
parking RV and tow vehicle on property.. basically lotsa' room.
note: availability varies during summer months 'cause I still - so far - do some campin' in Ohio. but, if I know ahead of time, maybe campin' at our area would be avail..
[nothing exactly right here] Pittsburgh has many cultural places: museums - big Carnegie one, history center, science center, churches and lots more.
Made it to our hosts location without incident, but between the narrow road, the mailbox and power pole locations, and my inexperience, I was unable to back into the driveway. All I managed to do was put ruts in the lawn and disrupt traffic for 20 minutes or so.
Our host was apologetic, but as I told him, he had nothing to be sorry about. It was me who couldn’t maneuver properly and tore up his yard. He was extremely understanding and told me it wasn’t a problem. He was prepared with a load of topsoil.
I’m sure our stay would have been pleasant, but we ended up getting permission from a nearby restaurant to park in their lot. They were only doing pick up orders, due to Covid19, so that worked out for us.
