Husband and wife team Details: My husband Dan and I are retired and ready to begin our travelling adventures together. We are looking forward to meeting new people and learning from their experiences. Home Town: When we are not travelling, we live in Sparta, Ontario Canada. It is a quiet village with just five streets. There is a corner store, a tearoom, and various eclectic shops. The St. Thomas Dragway 1/4 mile track is just up the road but we rarely are disturbed by the sound of the engines. We are just 15 minutes to Port Stanley Beach as well.

Wow, Dan and Carol were amazing from the minute I hit the ground. They helped me locate a great spot on their beautiful property, ensured I had enough cords to hook-up electrical. Were friendly and welcoming to me and my dogs. We had a lovely fire and chat. I would definitely recommend this spot as it is truly Serenity. The town is very cute also!!! Thank you for hosting me.

We were allowed to park right at the back of their lot by the campfire spot and away from the street. A little noise from the drag way down the road but no problem.

We very much enjoyed our overnight stay with these welcoming hosts. Our parking spot was a lovely grassed area with lots of shade. Carol and Dan took time to sit and chat with us as we shared camping stories.

We had a really nice stay with Carol and Dan very welcoming. The hamlet they live in is called Sparta a very cute place with about 400 inhabitants. Sparta is very close to Port Bruce, Port Stanley and Port Burwell Ontario all towns on Lake Erie. There was lot's of room for our 30ft motor home and our truck in the backyard. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this little Gem.
