Have you stayed at this host location?
Leave a reference for this hostWe have a field available that used to have a mobile home on it that has been removed. This is a rural area and the area is on a No Outlet road, so there is very little traffic. Grass site with a gravel base surrounded by cornfields.
A little bit of gravel road before the driveway entrance.
Tow vehicle can park anywhere on that spot.
We are situated in the middle of Buffalo, NY.; Cleveland, OH and Pittsburgh, PA. All are about 1 1/2 hours away. Closer is Erie, PA and Lake Erie (<1 HR away); About 20 minutes away is Pymatuning Lake/Pymatuning State Park (where the ducks walk on the fishes backs); Conneaut Lake; Conneaut Lake Park. There are a few wineries and bourbon makers. There is a paved bicycle/walking path in Meadville along with turn of the century architecture at Allegheny College.
As many others have commented, we also received a warm welcome. The site is exactly as described and was a perfect spot for our first boondocking experience.
Jan was very responsive via text with instructions and very nice when she met us on our arrival. Would recommend and would stay again.
Our host greeted us and after a very short drive,we got situated in a grass area surrounded by corn fields.A wonderful quiet night. As a bonus,we spotted an ultralite flying over the cornfields at sunset.Delightful!
Very friendly host. Enjoyed talking with her. Great place to spend the night. Very quiet. Would definitely stay here again.
Jan was very welcoming. She came to the road to show us where to park. The site is beautiful. You are surrounded by hills and cornfields. Quiet spot to rest for the night.
Thank you!
I really enjoyed my first ever boondock at Tom and Jan’s beautiful and relaxing property! It was so quiet and relaxing. They were super friendly and very welcoming. Jan provided great directions and excellent communications. I’d love to stay again if I’m ever passing through!
Great private spot surrounded by corn fields and easy access with RV and trailer. This was our first visit as guests with boondockerswelcome and Tom and Jan made us feel right at home. Jan texted us a detailed map so we were able to get right to there spot without any issues. This was a great first stay and hope to see Tom and Jan again. It was an excellent experience and safe spot to stay. Thank You Tom and Jan!
Lovely hosts, came down to meet us at the field. Peaceful nights sleep in an open field surrounded by corn fields.
Thank you so much Tom & Jan.

TomandJan responded on same day of request and even came down to show me the spot in person. I had originally booked one night stay and ended adding another night, I felt so welcomed.
What wonderful folks. Easy spot to back in our rig and a nice recreational park across the road with a beautiful creek. Took many walks in the park with our dogs. Our hosts made us feel so welcome and at home. Truly sincere nice people. Thank you

We needed a place for overnight on our way and even though TomandJan weren't home they helped us through very rainy night. Very nice surroundings, wish we could stay more to explore.
We spent 4 lovely nights with Tom and Jan at Quiet Country Retreat. What an amazing place they have, right across the street from the most beautiful park. Spent many hours walking in the park amongst the trees and just relaxing and soaking up the amazing energy. We parked in a flat area and they let us fill our fresh tank and even let us jump in the pool. Tom and Jan, and their dog Louis were the sweetest hosts. We enjoyed getting to know them while sharing food and making "mountain pies." So happy to have the chance to meet them and would highly recommend staying with them if you are in the area. They are one in a million!!! Thanks for a great time and wishing you sweet adventures in the future.
Our hosts provided a very spacious peaceful spot for us to enjoy our stay.
They were a huge help with getting us situated since we are still new to getting parked.
We didn’t get to visit as much as we wanted due to us sightseeing and working but we did enjoy some chats with these kind people.
We also loved the huge park across the road where our dogs loved running off leash and we played in the creek with our toddler. We had a blast and wish them luck on their journeys!
We stayed with TomandJan for 1 night and had dinner together. Thank you for the great space, the open friendliness toward us and our pup, and the fresh garlic! I wish we had stayed longer, but we greatly appreciated our short stop. We liked sitting on the back yard and watch fireflies going by and listen to the orchestra of the tree frogs.
We loved staying with Tom and Jan! They are incredibly hospitable and we feel like we made life long friends. We enjoyed trading travel stories and they were so good with our son. He even got a ride on a backhoe-- best 4th of July ever!! Quiet Country Retreat is the perfect description of the property, we can't wait to come back before they head off full time.
Thank you!
