We are a couple of miles north of Mannford and about 1/4 mile from Keystone Lake. The parking spot is next to our house where we park our RV when it is not in the barn.
Gravel road for about 400 feet.
Parking on concrete pad about 100' from RV parking, all off the street.
Keystone Lake, Tulsa Shopping, Oklahoma Aquarium, Tulsa Zoo, The Gathering Place (an unbelievable public park in Tulsa, Google it)
Was a great location and host. Glad there are other travelers that open their place for other travelers. Had car problems and ended sitting a day at dealership. Would had been better if covid was not around so we could talk more. They even opened up their fenced in yard for our dogs. Glad to have stayed with this host. Highly recommend this location if in the area.
I arrived at Edd and Louise's location and was greeted and shown where to setup. I had a great conversation with them both over a nice glass of wine. The next day I took a tour of Edd's shop and we had discovered we were both Ham Radio operators. He has a great workshop out back and a sweet looking 1961 Mac truck sitting back there. Later in the evening they invited me in to have dinner and we had more great conversation about a multitude of interesting topics. The hospitality of this host was fantastic and a great location to stop on your journey for sure!!
Thanks you guys...!
We had a wonderful stay at this location. The hosts were very nice and even met us in town to lead us to their home. This is a quiet country setting with easy access to town. It is very easy to get to the parking location.
Edd and Louise were exceptional hosts. Their site was quiet, safe, and secluded, making for a very comfortable visit. We enjoyed an evening of dialogue with them, exchanging some very useful locations and life stories. They are incredibly generous with their site and their time.
Great place and nice folks. Easy to get to and quiet too. Edd has the coolest old Mack truck. If we’re back in thus area we would definintely ask to stay here again.
