We are away from any city on 10 acres; this is in a neighborhood on a dead end road. Only about 2 acres are cleared, the rest is wooded and you are welcome to investigate. Our driveway is gravel with the rig parking areas dirt/sandy/weeds, but plenty of shade. We are on a well for water that has been tested. Depending on where you want to park your rig, you can have water/electric and septic dump. Since we are out in the country, we have the usual "critters" and insects found in Upper East Texas. We have a small kennel for large dogs if you want them fenced and we have portable pens available for smaller dogs. We do not have street lighting on the property but there are motion lights on buildings (we like to see the stars).
We are off the beaten path for tourist attractions but if you are looking for some quiet or a restful time, we can offer you a spot.
Children and pets should be under voice control or leashed.
We live by Southern Hospitality Rules
We are retired and sleep in til 7:00 a.m.; please don't knock on the door before then unless you want to see undressed old people. :-)
Roads to property are paved and mostly smooth. Property is gravel and dirt

The more notice we have, the better chance the area will be freshly mowed. If you get the answer machine when you call, please leave a message WITH your phone number as this is a land line.
Closest cities are Longview and Tyler Texas about 45 minutes drive. Smaller towns are within 20 minutes.
What more to say.... Just a wonderful couple of new friends. Made us feel safe and at home. We will forget our time with them and hope to keep in touch. My wife and are were and still are deeply touched by their hospitality. Just fantastic people.
