We have space in our paved drive between the house and garage. You can see the space in the photo where the MH is. That would be your parking area.
We can offer water and electric and our WiFi should reach fine.
Tow vehicle parking would be on the street.
Dogs are fine, we love them
But they must get along with other dogs. Our dog Loki is super friendly.
Paved roads all the way to our house. We live in an old historic district of the city so roads are narrow with cars parked in both sides.
Tow vehicle parking available on the street
We are generally around or one of our adult children can be there if needed.
We are across the street from the house where Lizzie Borden lived after she was acquitted of the murder of her father and stepmother. This is a local story but well known if you google it you can learn more. We are also close to the burial site and the home where the murders took place. Not really our thing but apparently it’s a big draw in the area.
We are also a block from the local hospital Charlton Memorial Hospital.
We are not to far off the highway to cape cod and about 60 miles south of Boston.
We felt very welcome and had plenty of space in Loki's driveway. Couldn't have asked for more, we were provided with power, water and most of all some very friendly hosts. We used the morning to take a stroll around the neighborhood and the riverside. Thank you very much for having us!!
Our hosts helped us out with a late arrival. We really enjoyed meeting them! Also their pup is sweetest!! This neighborhood is beautiful and has some unique history! Hope to meet our hosts again down the road :)
We like slightly different historical things and this stay had it. It's in the middle of a very well known and sensationalized 19th century crime--the key sites are all minutes away--and the world's largest collection of WWII ships is 5 minutes away. Plan a full day or two for the ships.
The hosts are super and provide all we needed for a great stay. We left topped up for the next leg of our trip.
This spot is in the Highlands area of Fall River which is jam packed with architectural history. I walked and walked some more till my hips were aching, mostly looking straight up at the beauty of the late 19th century homes.
If you’re interested in the Lizzie Borden history the area is fun to explore. We ended up at a ghost tour of the murder house. Fun times. Lol.
The hosts are accommodating, helpful, and offer electricity and water.
Great couple. They took us even though it was a last minute request, and we got there pretty late. We enjoyed our stay. Very quite neighborhood. Loki and Indie (their pets) are very friendly. We would definatly stay with them again i the future.
