Our home is in a small retro Arts 'n' Craft stye homes neighborhood.
We can accommodate in our driveway a small trailer (maximum 18 /12 feet from bumper to hitch) or a class B van that is under 20 ft. long. Our city ordinance does not allow camping on the street.
Our street is somewhat active during school mornings and afternoons, but generally pretty quiet otherwise.
If occasional car noise at night doesn't bother you, you'll find this to be a safe and pleasant neighborhood. If you are a light sleeper (like me), this spot might not work out well for you.
We imagine guests traveling through this part of Oregon on their way to the coast or here for wine tasting might find this to be the perfect spot. Yamhill County has over 250 wineries
Have fun, first and foremost!
We are non-smokers so prefer no smoking on our property. We have a lovely city park right behind our house that might work well for a place to walk and have a smoke.
Because our neighborhood is very compact, we wouldn't be able to accommodate generators or anything else that might disturb our neighbors.
Please check with us - we should be able to accommodate a small dog. Please send a note with your request and we can see if it will work out okay!
Our house is located on a wide street.
Tow vehicle can park on the street
I had an amazing stay at ChaletBurr! They are the nicest people you could meet and so accommodating. Their driveway has a slight slant so they gave me their levelers and set them up both days to help me get level. The neighborhood is nice and there’s a park right behind their house with foot path access right next to their house. They even recommended some wineries for me to visit while in town and were great with communicating everything. I feel like I made lifelong friends here! They really go above and beyond for their guests. ❤️
