Two fogies in hillbilly country, retired and into RV-ing, fishing, beach combing. Details: We like to light the barbeque, chat with good people, relax on the patio. Home Town: Rural cattle country. Population 500. Some nice beaches, camping, hunting, fishing, small-town stuff. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Anywhere warm, where there is some water and not too many bugs!! Usually east, west or south! Skills or Expertise to Share: We have some tools, and can usually get you going.

Lovely setting, back from a quiet road. Hosts were very welcoming and most accommodating. They directed us to one of the local beaches which we enjoyed as much as we enjoyed the bird watching. Ashern has a little of everything, including a most respectable bakery. There is a dump station at the local municipal campground ($10 fee on the honor system). Thanks for a great stay.
