We have an paddock of approx. 1 acre and you can use to free camp any where in that area. Area at the top, near the road is flatter and level. Some of the other area is sloped and can get boggy in the wet.
PLEASE ENJOY -If we are home we would love to share stories over a beer/glass of red .... or three !
No running generators after 10pm
There are some services available but please note:
POWER : 10 amp connection for one unit, Free to charge up your devices or run the TV, but please do not run your Heating or A/C from this supply.
WATER: We can fill up the van... but we run on tank water, so supply may be limited at certain times of the year.
FIRES: normally ok but may be restricted at certain times of the year - we do live in the Kinglake area.... location of the Black Saturday fires so people are still "cautious"
DUMP POINT: we have a dump point, next to the house, where you can dump direct into our septic - but only accessible to cassette loos and smaller motor homes.
Access to the property is via the paddock gate adjacent to the road. The gate is not locked - please close after access. You can stay anywhere in the approx 1 acre paddock but please note that the flattest area is near the road. The paddock slopes away slightly from the road for approx 2/3 rds of the area. PLEASE NOTE: If it is wet conditions, this can make the driving around the paddock without a 4x4 quite challenging!
See access and road conditions - You can stay anywhere in the approx 1 acre paddock.
Generally available most of the year - unless we are away. If we are away may still be available, but will be with limited services - bare free camping only. Feel free to give us a shout and see if we can accommodate you.
