Ortonville is a small rural town. You feel like you are out in the woods , but a grocery, little shops, hardware, pet store, etc is within a mile.
No smoking on property. No running generators. No loud music. No partying. Of course we want you to have fun, talk, laugh, and enjoy the yard but please be very considerate of our neighbors by keeping the noise way down. Children allowed and there is places to play, but must be under supervision. One of us leaves very early for work in morning but I work from home so am generally here. We will respect your right to privacy and ask the same. We can visit a little bit, but then you can just hang out and enjoy your time here.
We do have an outside water spigot, but you would need a long hose to access it. Also we have an electric vehicle charging station.
Our long private drive is dirt/gravel, has very low hanging limbs, so tall rigs will get scratched. I do not think there is room for a large 5th wheel or large class A to get in and out easily. Length is not a huge issue, our bus is 37 foot, but height is. Regular height bus conversions would fit along with most everything else. Please contact me if you are worried about whether your rig will fit. Driveway is very curvy, with small hills, and only one lane. The six neighbors on our road cooperate with backing up, pulling into another driveway, etc. in order to get in and out. Wave and smile. Once you get to our driveway, you can pull around the circle drive and park on the drive next to firepit and picnic table for our guests.
There is room to park tow vehicle in our side yard by our bus.
We travel ourselves once a month, so I will try to keep this updated as to when we are available.
Historic little towns, local state parks.
