We had the most wonderful time at this boondockers welcome! The location was beautiful and the spot to park was freshly cut and level! The hosts were so thoughtful and generous. Thanks for the fresh muffins and coffee - Hope to be back one day :)
The owners are really friendly and the scenery outstanding. They provided electricity which was an unexpected luxury (keurig, microwave,...). Don’t miss going for a walk in the Hopetown park beaches.
We had a pleasant couple of nights overlooking the Gulf. Quiet and restful; very accommodating hosts. Thanks.
We called Hopetown351 as we approached the area as our host had instructed us. Soon we saw him standing at the side of the road wearing his red vest. He took us to the areas we could use.One area was on a gravel area near the house and the other area was a field overlooking the water far from the house and the road traffic. We chose the field and spent a quiet night there. We awoke early and as it was raining we decided to leave so we would not get stuck getting out of the field. Although we did not have any interaction with the hosts other than getting direction on where to park we would recommend this spot and would want to return here if we were to travel the Gaspe Penninsula again.
We were warmly welcomed and treated as royals. 30 amps and the view by the sea!
We met as strangers and left as friends.
Many thanks to Hopetown 351.
The view was only eclipsed by the welcoming of the hosts. We had a great visit while watching the full moon rise out of the ocean. Looking forward to seeing them again.
Wonderful stay with Hopetown351. We have made friends with 2 dear people we will see again this fall. We ended up staying 2 nights because we were having so much fun with our hosts. Can’t forget our lobster lunch. Thanks again.
Bernard and Martine were wonderful hosts, generous with their time and extremely hospitable. Bernard gave us a warm welcome upon arrival and invited us in to meet Martine and have a coffee. They told us stories of their time in the area and past experiences. They even showed us around the area. We could not have been happier and would happily stay there again or host them in the future. You can’t go wrong with Bernard and Martine!
