Had a lovely stay at the Moyers’ Place! We enjoyed meeting and spending an evening with these very welcoming and gracious hosts. Such interesting and good-hearted people!
I am so happy to have met you guys, I had such a great experience staying with you and feel I've made lifelong friends. Thank you so much!
We were very happy with the quiet location and the very friendly and inspirational hosts.
The very gently sloped driveway is on a cul-de-sac street across from a golf course.
We will enjoy coming here again.
Easy access, good road, cell service, safe place, nice cool breezes thru my window!
John greeted me by gifting me his book, "Grit" and his music CD. I had no idea I would be figuratively rubbing shoulders with true heros! in reading John's book, he has inspired me to be even kinder, more patient, and relentlessly grateful. Cris is a delightful, hardworking, caring woman. She suggested I could use the transit system that starts nearby in Chula Vista and with transfer, can take you all the way to Oceanside, which I did. There's just too much to see and do in this area. Oh, and of course...the harbor and beautiful Beaches! I'll be back!
Great place to spend the night. Quiet neighborhood Dead End Road across from Golf Course. Perfect fit for us. We would definitely stay here again thank you so much.
Jeff and Cris were so welcoming and kind. It was a great homebase for anything in the San Diego area. We hope to go again
With the new construction, their road is a dead-end which makes it very quiet and very easy to pull in and out of their driveway. The host was very kind and responsive by phone. Will definitely try to stay here again if I’m in the SD area!
We unfortunately didn't get to interact with the hosts in person, but their directions and communication were excellent. We enjoyed our stay here.
Called at the last minute to stay and they welcomed me! Thank you for all your kindness!
Such kind hospitable hosts, with such great knowledge and a passion for music! We would definitely stay here again, and hope to see them again.
Only great things to say! I really appreciate the quick communication and help they gave me.
This was my second stay and thus tone I stayed two days. It’s very quiet and safe. Great hosts! I plan on going back. THANK YOU.
Cris was an absolute wonderful hostess. I will definite stay again!
Although we distanced ourselves they were incredibly helpful, generous and giving. I appreciated the fact that they allowed me the opportunity to stay at their home
We had a wonderful short stay. The hosts were kins and thoughtful. The street was quite, and the location is convenient.
Jeff and Cristi kept in touch with me nicely prior to arriving, even describing route changes! The side yard has a small spot for your lounging, and the neighborhood is in the middle of things. Jeff shared many of his talents with us!
Our hosts were so gracious to let us stay with them again, after we got back from Mexico. They invited us to dinner at the Elk’s lodge and we enjoyed great conversation with them. They are so kind and giving. Would definitely stay with them again if we were in the area
We are so happy to have met these 2. They are so kind. We can’t wait to see them again next week. Thank you for all your hospitality
This was our second stay and again we enjoyed staying at this place.
We had our first Boondockers Welcome experience with Cristi and Jeff and it couldn’t have been any better. We had a lovely time with them, they are such inspiring humans. We would come back anytime!
Our stay could not have been more pleasant. These folks definitely made us feel welcomed.
Great hosts! Also, out of over 300 million people in this country, Jeff turned out to be the cousin of one of Jasper's coworkers from a few years back. What are the odds? Thanks again for your hospitality guys!
We had help getting into parking
Which was real easy.
Close to street but not bad. Kind and helpful folks eletric and water available WiFi was good. A happy stay.
Jeff and Cristi are the best. They live in a really nice neighborhood in San Diego. We had very nice talks with them and both of them are really intelligent and interesting! Jeff makes awesome music and we’re looking forward to reading his book GRIT. If we come back to San Diego, we would definitely love to stay with them again and we could talk with them for hours!
Cristi and Jeff are hosts of great kindness. Our daughter loves Jeff's music. We would have stayed several days.
J and C were great hosts offering water, 110 and a spot in the driveway. We did take some water and had coffee in the morning. We even received beautiful music cd's for which they would not take any money. Awesome people and a good overnight stay. Thanks again.
The hosts were very accommodating and we enjoyed a quiet night. We had a nice visit with them in the morning. We hope to stay with them again at some point.
Stopped here to be as close to San Diego & the USS Midway Tour. Jeff and Cris were wonderful and Cris was already waiting to help me park upon my arrival. I truly enjoyed their company and can't thank you enough Jeff for the wonderful book GRIT. Hugs! Roman
Hosts were welcoming and delight to talk with. Street is a little busy but it calms down as the evening comes. 30 mins from Ocean Beach. Lots of restaurants and shopping close by. Definitely worth staying here.
We were greeted by a very friendly couple in Chula Vista. We were able to easily take the trolley to get to the city. Thank you very much to Jeff and Cris for the welcome.
I arrived in a stranger's driveway and left new friends' home. I wish I was more eloquent with words so I could say what incredible and inspirational loving human beings Cristy and Jeff are. I'm a better person for meetings and knowing them.
This is my first boondockers.com experince....I dont think the bar can be any higher! :) AND I got to dip my toes in the Pacific! So grateful!
Jeff and Cris are wonderful host! Helpful, welcoming, charming. They wanted to accommodate us and help us when we stayed with them. We had dinner together and had a lot of fun to get to know them. Jeff is a great musician, author. Cris has a great spirit, cheerful and generous.
Really inspiring people. We hope to meet again!
We had such a great time getting to know our hosts! They have had very interesting lives and their stories were entertaining and enlightening. Very kind people who offered us electric hookup and water to fill our tank. They have two adorable, sweet dogs who we loved interacting with. Parking is in their driveway (they graciously moved their own vehicle to give us enough space) on a somewhat busy road. With our fans running, though, traffic was nearly unnoticeable. We felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay. Very grateful we had a chance to stay here!
Cris and Jeff were such charming hosts. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and even invited us to join them for a meal. We enjoyed getting to know them and appreciated all the ways in which Cris worked to make us more comfortable. Pretty quiet neighborhood. Not far from the beaches and downtown San Diego.
Chris and Jeff Moyer are without comparison some of the sweetest and welcoming people we have met on our vacation so far. They let us join them for dinner and introduced us to their friends who was very lovely people too. We hope to keep in touch!
You will not regret this choice :-)
