Dine with beautiful view One of our favorites is The Bayside restaurant in Westport. It's on your way to Gooseberry Island. They serve quality food, although a bit pricey. I suggest checking it out for a cup of coffee and a homemade muffin. Outside seating so you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean! Temporarily closed- The Sail Loft restaurant has half priced appetizers 4-6 on weekdays. Located in Padanaram ( small village in Dartmouth) outside seating overlooking the harbor. The Back Eddy in Westport, expensive, beautiful view of Westport harbor. Worth going for a drink and sitting on the outside deck overlooking the harbor. Another favorite seafood restaurant is Cape Quality Seafood 657 Dartmouth St. S. Dartmouth. They have a seafood market attached to the restaurant. Local fresh seafood. simple restaurant, no view. Historical store, Davol's country store the big yellow building is worth checking out. Unique items, along with food items. The Head Town Landing Country Store is famous for home made donuts, a cute spot for ice cream, coffee and to relax on a bench outside the store. There are picnic tables and benches. Make sure you take a pick on the Tourist Bench! It's Located across from the Westport River where you can rent canoes and kayaks. 20 minutes from our house. If you're in the mood for an ice cream sundae, this is the place to go. Their medium Sunday is big! Beautiful view of the harbor. Padanaram is a small quaint village in Dartmouth, which lies along the Apponagansett River. The two main streets are lined with wonderful specialty shops, restaurants, and galleries. Beware things are expensive, but worth the visit to the village just for the water views. 10 minutes from our house. Definitely worth the trip. Awesome sunsets. Newport, RI The cliff walk is a 3 1/2 mile scenic path along the coast with beautiful views of the ocean on one side and the Breakers Mansion. There are 5 different mansions to tour. I recommend you check out the web site before you go for ticket prices and hours of operation.Ocean Drive is definitely worth the ride while your in Newport! In July on Breton Point they usually have a big kite festival. While there Thames Street and America's Cup Ave is worth checking out. I recommend the Brick Alley Pub for lunch or dinner. Good food, large selection, reasonable prices. It has a big yellow awning and great decor! New Bedford ( history buffs) The Whaling Museum, the Seamen's Bethel, Fort Taber and the fishing pier and cobblestone roads are worth visiting. The Black Whale restaurant overlooking the fishing boats is worth checking out.Take a picture on the huge Adirondack chair. Retired Couple Details: We like to describe ourselves as adventure seekers, (when it comes to traveling, not skydiving) taking off with no definite plans exploring new places and meeting folks who are also love to travel. We enjoy listening to veteran RVers who are willing to share and recommend their RV experiences. Even though we have outgrown the winters in New England, we love the spring, summer and fall. We are approximately 3 miles, ( as a crow flies) from the Atlantic Ocean, one hour from Boston, and 35 minutes from Providence, Rhode Island. We look forward to meeting new folks! Home Town: We hang our hat in Dartmouth, MA in our log home 800 feet in the woods! Favorite Boondocking Locations: Big Mike's in. Georgia. Skills or Expertise to Share: There is something special about meeting people from all walks of life, and all over the world, they have so much to offer. Their vision may inspire you! Open your driveway and learn for yourself"- Robin Rheaume

My pup and I stayed here in august 2021. I arrived at night and had not driven through the area before. My map app took me there no problem. We awoke to a beautiful meadow and a serene area. A quick drive through the coastal area was beautiful on our way out the following morning. I’d definitely stay there again.
