Stayed at Barry’s compound for 2 nights traveling from SC to Venice, Fl and 2 nights on the return trip to SC. Peaceful area off of I-75 to rest up. Enjoyed the firepit stocked with wood. The hospitality from Karen. Barry was traveling and away. But Karen covered just fine. Would definately return in the future! Maybe get to meet our host next time.

Barry was traveling so we didn’t get to meet him. Karen was staying at his compound and showed us where to park and the hookups. Parked under a huge old Oak with Spanish moss hanging from it. Plenty of room to park my 5th wheel which is 41 1/2 feet with a long bed truck. Solid base to park on which was hard packed sand. Very short driveway from asphalt road. Fire pit with plenty of wood available for use. We would stay at Barry’s again, so peaceful. Short distance to the driveway from the State Road.

We had a good nights rest at this location. Hubby cooked hotdogs over the fire at the firepit. Compound was easy to locate. Directions and communication was excellent.
