Convenient Location

This boondockers welcome location is conveniently located for visiting the Johnstown Flood Museum and the Inclined Plane. It was a quiet location near water. Our host was very accommodating to our needs.

Johnstown Flood history

Our host was very courteous and made sure we were settled and had all we needed, thanks Johnstownfloodcow, the history of the town and the restaurants were great. The Camp site is in a residential neighborhood and other than a few cars the area is quite. We had a nice stay.

Front row for fireworks

I stayed two nights at this location, and had a feint riw seat for the July 4th fireworks...

It was a convenient stop on my way south, and I did explore the cemetery and took in some beautiful old architecture...

The host was very personable and friendly, checking in a few times to make sure I was a happy camper...he even brought a barbecued dinner to me on the 4th!...

There was plenty of room to hook up my toad on location - tho I did go down the street about a block to unhitch...

As another review said, street noise can be loud, tho it never interrupted my sleep...

Thanks so much for a hospitable stay!...

Good for visiting Johnstown

An affable host makes this a good spot for visiting Johnstown Flood sites. There is some road noise but earplugs help.

A Great First Experience

We stayed with Kevin right after setting out on the road for the first time. My husband and I are new to the full-time life and were a little nervous and full of questions. Kevin made us feel welcome and gave us plenty of useful advice. He let us use his battery charger and even helped us change out some wires when that didn't fix the problem we were having. Great guy! I would love to stay with him again in the future.
