Easy going, laid back couple Details: We are an easy going, laid back couple who enjoys all things outdoors. We have 5 kids (ages 18-31) and 3 grandkids. Early retirement and our youngest son graduating in 2018 allows us to wonder and roam freely. We are preparing to sell our sticks and bricks and travel full time in the next year. Our hobbies include camping, hiking, kayaking, biking, fishing, playing games and (if the hubby gets his way) we will soon be enjoying sight seeing on our new Can-Am Spider. Home Town: Fergus Falls is a smallish town (population 13,000) located just minutes off I94. In the summer, trees, flowers and all things green abound. Fergus has lakes galore and miles and miles of paved biked trails surrounding us. A 30 minute drive to Maplewood State Park offers the prettiest fall foliage display around.

This family extended warm and generous midwestern hospitality to us. While we planned to stay one night, they welcomed us for three nights while we got our camper repaired. Their son helped out with computer issues, and their adorable dog charmed us. These are five-star hosts.

Tim and Karen were wonderful hosts. I greatly enjoyed our conversation. I highly recommend them.
