Have you stayed at this host location?
Welcome to Dog and Pony Show Farm. Your hosts are Brett and Tom. This is the childhood home and family farm of Brett. From about 1927 to 2000, this was a working dairy farm. Brett's father, uncle, sister and sister-in-law live just down the road. When Tom retired in 2017, he and Brett moved back to the farm and built a home. We now have 20 or more Draft Ponies on the farm. We are an 80 acre farm located 5 miles north of Utica, OH and 10 miles south of Mt. Vernon, OH. We have draft ponies which we show at various fairs in the area in the summer. We have RV parking in the driveway of our 60' by 40' pole barn. The driveway is approximately 40' by 80' so we can handle most any rig and parking for tow vehicle. The driveway is gravel. Water and 50 amp electric available. Fire ring overlooking creek and horse pasture, firewood provided by your hosts. Come and stay on the farm with us.
We just expect you to treat our property as if it were your own. Leave the spot as when you arrived.

Great folks. This was only our fourth Boondocker stay since joining. And like our first three visits at other locations, these guys were also great. We met some of the horses. Especially liked "Jill". And met the dogs as well. Great location. Quiet and serene.
A great place to stay...beautiful area, absolutely wonderful host. Parking is easy (back in the wide drive), water and 50 amp right there. Host had a list of area sites and resources...a great intro to the area. We will definitely stop again if we're in the area!
My wife and I were hosted at this location for 5 days beginning June 6, 2018. We were warmly welcomed and offered 50 amp electric plus water. Relatively easy to get to and our RV was safe for the entire stay. We offer our highest positive reference.
Brett & Tom were very welcoming. Communication was excellent as we worked out the details. The farm is awesome, very quiet country living. The dogs and ponies were a hoot. Love the place. Thanks so much.
This was our first Boondocking experience. Brett was so responsive to messages and even though they had a family emergency, the ensured that we had everything we needed. Great spot for a quick overnight and a wonderful break from the highway. Rolling hills with ponies meandering through the pasture. Thanks again gentlemen!
We really enjoyed the peaceful location. The horses were beautiful and very friendly. Our host was welcoming with good information about the area.
Took us back to the country way of life, farms all around. Enjoyed our stay and area recommendations not limited to the Ice cream.factory. of course had to do a taste test.
This is a beautiful area of Ohio with rolling hills. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. It was our first time using Boondockers Welcome and it was their first time hosting! It all worked out very well. They were great hosts and invited us in for a chat the night before we left. This is a family farm passed down through the generations and they are very proud of this heritage. We were thankful to have water and electric and lots of peace and quiet! Bring leveling blocks because the driveway has a slant to it. We were fine but our levelers were extended all the way out. Great place! Thanks so much!
