Have you stayed at this host location?
Leave a reference for this hostThe campsite will be in our driveway in front of our house that has a decent slope to it. We put our camper in the drive and can get it level when we are preparing to go on a trip so camping there is possible. Since it is a residential driveway backing in can be a bit of a challenge. We have a fenced backyard with a grill, patio, firepit and lawn furniture you are welcome to use. Pets are also welcome in the backyard but guests are responsible for cleanup.
No smoking on the property, No generators.
We live in a city neighborhood so access is very easy.
There is tow vehicle parking available on the street in front of our house.
10 mins from Notre Dame University
10 mins South Bend East Race (white water rafting)
15 mins from Potato Creek State Park
35 mins from Hesston Steam Museum
35 mins from Lake Michigan
Thank you so much. Very safe place to stay and very close to my grandkids.
We were able to communicate with them and it was so very easy to work with him. Both were on the front porch when we arrived and it was a super visit. very nice couple. They can stay at our place anytime.
Melanie and I travel full-time. We were on our way to Chicago and stayed with tvannevel for an evening. We spent a very quiet (and cool for July) night on the street in front of their home. They graciously allowed us to plug our van. The street in their neighborhood is wide and relatively flat, so no problems with leveling.
We also spend some time in their wonderful backyard as they enjoyed their dinner. They are some of the nicest and most generous hosts we've met thus far. Highly recommended.
Nice curbside stay in great residential area. Only light neighborhood street traffic. Sidewalk for safe strolls. Hosts were gracious and offered power and water, although I didn’t need either. They also offered, and I took advantage of, the use of their wonderful, fenced backyard for my dogs. Excellent stay!
Miranda and Tom were wonderful
They were camping but let us stay at their place. They gave us great advice on where to eat and go. The river walk was beautiful. We toured Notre dame university since they are close. The neighborhood was also good to walk. If you are in the area it's a great place to stay.
I was warmly welcomed by this friendly family. They were busy getting ready for the younger daughter's graduation from pre-school, but still found time to make me feel at home. Paved electric hook-up. Hope to meet them again.
