Our available pad might look rather plain and/ugly ut the rest of the yard and gardens make up for it! You are welcome to set up lawn chairs in our backyard and use the gas BBQ. Walking distance to downtown, grocery store, library. Maple Creek hosts many events like the Cowboy Poetry Festival in September, rodeos. RV dump is less than a mile away and free. About 1/2 hour to Centre Block and West Block Cypress Hills. Centre block is commercialized and touristy with lots of paid campsites. West Block is wilder with an equestrian camp and some primitive paid sites. Very unique area to explore. We horseback ride in the hills and would be happy to show you the trails you can hike on.
PS Maple Creek is on the main CPR rail line so frequent trains pass through day and night. Their whistles either drive folks crazy or they love to hear them.
Pets on leash. Clean up after them
We have 2 dogs and 2 cats
Level concrete pad accessible from gravel back lane . Best approach is from the north and go south down the lane then back in your spot or if a small motorhome drive straight in
RV dump free within a mile within the town of Maple Creek
You can park on the street in front of our home No problem
Available generally May through October
Some dates will not be available. We may be doing some last minute short travel stints so check in with us via text anytime.
Art gallerys, motels, evening entertainment, museums and many summer events.
Very pleasant stay.
Puppy Whiskey had lot of fun.
Thanks for being so generous :-)
Hrznhrz had everything organized for our stay with a box full of info, hoses (and even electrical adapter) but then there was the personal walking tour through their nice little town and oh my! A wonderful, long driving tour through the gorgeous cypress hills. (Thank you Hrznhrz, everyone I know is going to know how unflat and pretty Saskatchewan is). We had a great time and hope to host them and others when we settle down.
