Leave a reference for this hostOur available pad is level. You have a choice of 2 plugins. You are welcome to use the yard and enjoy the gardens. You are welcome to set up lawn chairs in our backyard and use the gas BBQ. Walking distance to downtown, grocery store, library. Maple Creek hosts many events like the Cowboy Poetry Festival in September, rodeos. RV dump is less than a mile away and free and the rodeo grounds near there has free overnight camping. About 1/2 hour to Center Block and West Block Cypress Hills. Center block is commercialized and touristy with lots of paid campsites. West Block is wilder with an equestrian camp and some primitive campsites. Very unique area to explore. We used to horseback ride in the hills and would be happy to show you the hiking trails.
PS Maple Creek is on the main CPR rail line so frequent trains pass through day and night. Their whistles either drive folks crazy or they love to hear them.

hrznhrz shared their bounty of an amazing garden. They offered their utility hook ups to us if we wanted and shared information on the local area. We exchanged rv stories and had a very restful stay. Thanks for being great hosts. We would love to come back.
Thanks ladies for sharing your yard, puppies and garden delights. Super, large private spot and super ladies. 5 stars from us. Liked the info you had prepared for us as we arrived in your area. Very helpful to us " tourists". Stay well, stay safe. Happy travels.
We enjoyed a very quiet night at hrzbhrz, tucked away on a perfectly flat spot.
Our hosts were so very helpful, giving us great information about Cypress Hills park as soon as we told them we were heading there before arriving at their home. Once there, we received a very warm welcome, a hook up, and useful local information. We spent a delightful hour with them over their great Saskatoon berry pie they had just made!
Hope to welcome them in Comox!

We were greeted with a cheerful, warm welcome by our hosts, and their two very friendly dogs. Our hosts showed us around their lush raised vegetable garden and lovely flower beds then invited us for a nice chat on their patio, all very COVID conscious, of course. We look forward to visiting with our hosts again. We exchanged tales of some of our travels and notable points of interest. As a result we drove the extra kilometers to travel to the picturesque Cypress Hills before continuing on our journey. Thanks for a
relaxing and inviting stay folks.
Warm, welcoming and thoughtful hosts had a bin of resources ready to help with our stay. It was nice to walk around this nice small town after a long driving day. We had our take out dinner in the lovely backyard. We loved the garden tour. Inspiring! And enjoyed hearing their travels stories and interesting family history.
Parking is a very level concrete pad in the back laneway. Very private and secure.
Hope we meet again!
I was thrilled to be accepted for a one night stay on the cute town of Maple Creek.
Unfortunately with the COVID BE we had a brief greeting.
I'd love to return and spend time getting to know my hosts.
I got to hug a dog though. ♥️
After two long and hard travel days we just needed a quiet break. We were welcomed and left to rest. Thanks.
A very quiet place in the middle of a nice town.
We enjoyed meeting them and we had a nice chat about traveling and our homeland.
Their welcome box is well organized.
We are a bit envious of their very beautiful vegetable garden

D & K were excellent hosts who had a welcome informational package waiting for us to help us experience Maple Creek. They were very friendly and we enjoyed a pleasant visit with them and their two dogs in their garden. We highly recommend them as hosts and guests. Offers of water and power were much appreciated. Visitors from colder climates should check out D's very soft and warm mittens that she makes - a real deal for the price!! Thanks so much, D & K
two of the nicest ladies that I never met. perfect spot, beautiful gardens.
guys follow the ladies instructions not your gps unless you are familiar with back lanes.
We really enjoyed our overnight stay in Maple Creek! Our host was very welcoming and kind. We appreciated the information provided, including written tips and maps. Also appreciated the use of WIFI. We would be very happy to stay again!
We cannot put into words how grateful we are for our stay with hrznhrz. These women were an inspiration to us! We learnt so much listening to their stories and we are very glad to have met them. A very hospitable duo, if you get the chance to be hosted or host them- take it!
Thanks so much to Denise & Kathy. What welcoming and helpful hosts. We booked one night and ended up staying for two. Denise put us in touch with a tire shop when we drove up with a flat tire on our trailer. She helped us with the jack and showed us the way to the shop! Maple Creek is a wonderful town with a great museum and interesting shops. Our hike to the Cypress Hills was a highlight we will not soon forget. We can't forget to mention Riley - our super little hiking buddy.
Wonderful hosts. Very welcoming and generous. Loved our chats, garden tour, warm hospitality and advice about the area. Appreciated leaving our trailer safely in their yard while we went on long day trips exploring this beautiful area.
We stayed here on our way west and were delighted to be able to stay again on our way back to Ontario. These hosts are outstanding! They are so knowledgeable and interesting. Our time with them passed too quickly. Would highly, highly recommend these hosts. We also discovered the best pizza in Canada in Maple Creek! Cypress Pizza & Chicken.
This was our first experience with Boondockers Welcome and it was truly amazing. These lovely and talented ladies welcomed us warmly and made us feel like we were home. They introduced us to Saskatoon berries in a delicious homemade pie, best pastry crust I have tasted. They had tourist information available to share with us. They were very knowledgeable about the area and freely shared that knowledge. Their pets were endearing and oh-so-lovable! We can't say enough about the warmth with which they greeted us. If you have the opportunity to boondock here, it may just prove to be the highlight if your trip! We would highly recommend these hosts.
We had an amazing experience the days we were visiting Saskatchewan and it was wonderful to have the opportunity to meet this lovely people in Maple Creek. If you boondock here don't miss the beautiful Cypress hill interprovincial park. Lovely people you will meet here.
Very pleasant stay.
Puppy Whiskey had lot of fun.
Thanks for being so generous :-)
Hrznhrz had everything organized for our stay with a box full of info, hoses (and even electrical adapter) but then there was the personal walking tour through their nice little town and oh my! A wonderful, long driving tour through the gorgeous cypress hills. (Thank you Hrznhrz, everyone I know is going to know how unflat and pretty Saskatchewan is). We had a great time and hope to host them and others when we settle down.
