We live out in the country with a long driveway that leads to a large circular parking area. It is very, very quiet.
We have a fenced-in area for our gentle giant dog. We have a 10x10 separate pen if you need to leave your dog outdoors for a time while you run errands.
We have 38 acres of woodland if you want to take your dog for an enjoyable walk.
We have a well so water may or may not be available depending on drought conditions.
We have an external electrical outlet near the parking area.
Please keep the noise down after 10:00 p.m.
Please clean up after yourselves. We don't want anyone to actually come inside the house.
Long gravel/dirt driveway to circle. Fairly flat but may need to use levelers depending on where you park.
We have a large parking area off street.
There isn't anything around us but woods and fields. There are no external lights so the sky is beautiful.
About four miles away are a post office, a Dollar Store, a country grocery store and a country restaurant.
Very nice couple. Met the wife the first night and the husband the second night. Had a nice visit with him. Very secluded and dark at night. Had to delay my arrival 1 day and they were very accommodating.
Actually, my title line says it all. The owners are a delightful couple who decided to open their property up to Boondockers Welcome. They were my first host location and I happened to be their first boondocker; how about that! So we were both learning from each other this evening. The property is lovely and is very secluded and quiet. An occasional plane or car goes by in the distance, but mostly all I can hear are the sounds of nature. Absolutely lovely. I wouldn't hesitate in the least to come back or recommend this location.
