Our house is located in a neighborhood on the eastern bench of Salt Lake City very close to the canyon roads leading up to the ski resorts. It is approximately 5 - 10 minutes from the exit off of interstate 215 depending on the time of day you arrive.
No running the generator after 9:00 PM
We may need you to move your tow vehicle if parked in our driveway to get our own vehicles out of the garage in the morning.
No aggressive dogs. Dogs are allowed in our backyard to run and go to the bathroom but our 2 dogs may be out also. You would need to watch your dog around our Pomeranian because he thinks he's the boss of his yard. Our Labrador is very friendly and likes to be outside in the warmer months.
Clear access in and out. Our house is at the entrance of a cul-de-sac so you may back in from either side you are most comfortable with. Be careful around the next door neighbors fence which borders our adjoining driveways. Back your rig in next to the neighbors fence allowing enough room to extend your slide if you want to extend it for the stay.
Tow vehicle may be parked in my driveway next to your rig or on the street.
Snowbird Ski resort - open year round for mountain activities.
Hiking trails in the mountains nearby.
Park City is only 30 - 40 minutes from our house.
Temple Square in downtown Salt Lake City
We had such a nice time in Salt Lake City with our hosts Macky and Trish. This was our first time using Boondockers Welcome, and we couldn't have had a better experience! Their home is very central to the mountains/outdoor recreation (great for us!) and the city of Salt Lake. They were extremely accommodating, and made us feel right at home! Their driveway had more than enough space for our 24 ft rig and tow vehicle (separated), and it was out of the way in a lovely quiet neighborhood. We really enjoyed meeting Macky and Trish (and their 2 adorable dogs!) and sharing stories of RVing- they have a wealth of knowledge of Utah, and amazing places to visit and camp.
